You may think you know your stuff about knitting but it is always good to have a refresher. I purchased this for the baby sweater on two needles pattern but have used the book endlessly. A great gift for new and experienced knitters alike!

This is one of the best knitting books I own. It is not only an engaging read, it is full of great patterns. I have learned a great deal to improve my knitting through the instruction in this book. I highly recommend it, and all the others by this author.

But dated is OK, even desired, in the world of knitting, right? So alluringly written that one is trying out the suggestions almost immediately. Slightly challenging for visual learners- few instructional photos, but some drawings. Oh well, that's what YouTube is for.

This book was basically in perfect condition and was very reasonably priced. I collect Elizabeth Zimmermans books and this was one I had been looking for.

Good gift for a knitter. Sort of a commentary through the year, plus following her interesting and different train of thought.

This is the first knitting book that I've wanted to sit down and read, not just use for the patterns.Its insightful, full of information, but its not just thrown at you. She writes as if she's having a conversation with you. I feel like I'm sitting down with someone to chat about knitting and come up with a few patterns.This is definitely a book worth having in my knitting library
