Bulldog style hitch lock
In shopping for a bulldog hitch lock there is not many choices out there. This one seem to fit the bill in price and security. I like the style and easy to use but would have given it 5 stars if it was a little wider. I have a standard bulldog hitch and when this security device is installed there is room for the device to slide down the collar a bit. It does not slide far enough back to open the hitch latch but it is real close to the edge. If this collar was wider, there would be less room for the collar to slide back and forth on the hitch. So far works well and would recommend if you don't want to spend 3x the amount on another device being sold that covers the entire coupling.

As shown
Fairly substantial. Works as expected, fits on Bulldog coupler, takes standard padlock.

Great concept, Loves to rust.
Purchased May 11, 2021. I have had this on a camp trailer since about June 1. I like the concept. I think it is a great deterrent from theft. No mater what you lock your trailer with, it can still be stole. I have had this on the trailer for a full 9 months. We have out camping with it for about 16 days, about 10 of those days it was raining. Otherwise the trailer has been garaged in a dry environmentThis was a minor issue I want to use a different type lock, So I bought a one of the most secure high end paddle lock. Spent 50% more on the lock than I did the collar. I the hole on "The Collar" was slightly small for the lock so put in on the Drill Press and enlarged it by about .040.Why I rated lower, is because it is advertised that it "will never rust". As you can see in the pictures the collar has a fair amount surface rust so far. After 9 month in a garage and only 10 days of moisture, this is a long way from "never".
