Gorgeous! My skin loves this product! Whatever the formulation, my skin enjoyed this retinol, with no adverse reaction or irritation. I use it every night.

This product comes in a tall 50 ml glass bottle with a smooth operating pump, you need two to three pumps of this product to cover your face which means that this product should last you some good 2 months. You have to remember that this type of retinoids is less effective than the ones prescribed by the dermatologists (which is by far the most effective and most expensive retinoids).This retinol cream feels like a thicker moisturizer in terms of consistency, a mix between cream and a balm, and you have to apply a really good moisturizer because otherwise, it feels kind of dry. This is my first time ever trying a retinol cream, I am in my late twenties and my skincare consists of good Neutrogena cleanser and Cerave moisturizing cream for dry skin. The cream applies nicely onto the skin after cleansing, absorbs quickly, leaves no sticky residue and has a white colour. Immediately after applying, you can notice that the skin is much softer and more even, even feels tighter. The cream has a subtle chemical smell to it, however, I prefer it that way because dermatologists agree that fragrances are not good for sensitive skin and as such shouldn't be used in skincare products. I didn't experience any redness or skin reaction, but usually, you have to start applying retinol every other night in order to get the skin used to retinol, then you can use it every night.This is what I have learned about retinol from the Internet research, and from dermatologist opinions. Retinol has to be applied at night time only, and during the day you have to use an SPF because the skin is usually more sensitive. In order to see a difference and benefits, you have to use this retinol balm for much longer than prescribed retinoic acid (which is more effective in the short term as it is stronger). One big plus is that with this balm you won't get an irritation or skin sensitivity as it has less vitamin A (retinol). For all retinoids, the general improvements are seen at 4-6 weeks, acne improvements at 2 weeks and the long term improvements at 6 months of regular use. If you don't see the improvement that you are looking for, then use retinol more often, or try stronger one (like prescription ones). When using retinoids, skin can become worse before it gets better.After a week of use, I can see that the skin becomes much softer, hydrated, and balanced because it reduces redness and inflammation. Even the application of the makeup becomes much smoother, and the foundation absorbs nicely into the skin and pores. I absolutely love this retinol cream because I can see that my skin has reduced redness, less acne, and it will help down the line to prevent wrinkles.Overall, this is a very good retinol cream, and I really like it. I will update review after the 6 week period goes by. As for the price it is in line with the strength, prescription retinol costs a lot more.

Anti ageing night cream.Packaged well. Arrived in a nicely designed, tall, slim box.A beautifully presented tube of cream. There is 50ml within the tube. This smells absolutely gorgeous.This cream is aimed to minimise signs of ageing and sun damage. Reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Tighten the skin and help with pigmentation and more.I tested this on myself (30's) and my mum (50's). They recommend to begin every other day and build up to daily.I myself, in the morning noticed all my fine lines were gone around my eyebrows and forehead, I was actually excited and impressed! I have a deeper line near my mouth, the was lifted slightly but it's still visible. My skin looks fresher and feels a lot smoother.On my mum, her fine lines around her eyes were lifted, again impressed! Her deeper lines are still visible at the moment but they do look a little different, I can update if it gets better after more use. Her skin tone definitely looks more even over her cheeks where she has sun damage. Her under eye area looks fresher and firmer. Her skin is smooth too.My mum is extremely happy with this product and will continue to use it. It is quite expensive but you definitely see a difference even after the first day. I don't mind buying her more when she runs out! You don't need much, it spreads nicely.I would recommend this night cream, it is definitely one of the best I've come across for achieving results in such a short time. It smells absolutely beautiful too so it's inviting to put on also!

I use retinol products in my skincare routine on a continuing basis, varying it with hyaluronic-based products and they bring excellent benefits in terms of skin health. My regular retinol product, which is from a dermatologist, is a great deal is much more expensive than this so I was interested to see the price differential made a huge difference, and at the moment I would say that it doesn’t. So far this Skinician product seems surprisingly comparable (though my regular ones works for morning and evening). It more scented than my regular one, but it caused no irritation so I have no problem with that.On application, a little goes a long way, so at 50ml used once a day it should last a good long time. The cream absorbs easily, leaving no residue and you’re not left with greasy skin in the morning, which many night creams do, so great for my sensitive skin.So does it absolutely work? Well so far so good and as I said it’ seems comparable with my usual product, though only longer-term use will absolutely tell, but I am encouraged with initial results and I’m happy to keep using this and look forward to long-term results.
