Fantastic coffee, here is how to make a cup...
I usually get the Bravo Greek Coffee but Loumidis is also superb Greek coffee. In my opinion this one it has a stronger aroma than Bravo and that makes you crave it even more every time you open the bag. Nonetheless, they are both high quality coffee and I cannot really tell which one is better. Now, if you are not Greek or Turkish or you do not know how to make this coffee, you will need to purchase a special coffee pot such as this one: MisterCopper Hammered Copper Turkish Greek Coffee Pot Coffee Maker With Wooden Handle 1 mm ( 10oz ) . NOTE, if you are not going to make more than one cup of coffee at the time, you should not get anything bigger than 10 oz pot. Typically a cup of this coffee is about 3oz although many people make it a double for about 5 ounces. You will also need small cups to pour the coffee once it is ready and that is important. The cup will need to be thin (small radius) to allow this coffee to self filter properly. I suggest something like these: HIC 9-Piece Stackable Espresso Coffee Tea Set, Fine White Porcelain, Set Includes 4 (4-Ounce) Cups with Matching Saucers and Metal Stand, Gift Boxed So now that you have the coffee pot and the coffee cups, you are ready to make this coffee. 1) For a single cup of coffee, put half to a full teaspoon of coffee in the coffee pot and add sugar (typically as much as coffee). If you want it sweet, you can make the sugar 2 times the amount of coffee you use. 2) Fill the coffee pot with water but not all the way up. About 3 to 4 ounces of water per cup of coffee. The coffee will not mix with the water and it will rise to the top but do not attempt to mix it yet. 3) Put the pot on the stove and turn the stove to high. After a minute or so, use a teaspoon to mix the coffee in the water. When the water is warm enough, it will mix as soon as you stir it. If the water is cold, it will stick to the spoon (kind of like stirring cocoa in cold milk). 4) Now this is very important!!! Do not walk away from the pot. You do not have to do anything but you must watch it so you can take it off the stove as soon as the coffee rises because otherwise it will spill and although it is easy to clean, it will give your house the odor of burned coffee. You must let the coffee rise close to the rim of the pot before you take it off the stove and pour it directly in the cup. That's it, wait a couple of minutes to cool down a little before you start drinking it. This is a self filtering coffee and after you drink the great tasting liquid you will find the coffee at the bottom of the cup. This process works so well that you will not drink even a bit of the solid coffee that sits at the bottom. Note that you cannot pour this coffee from one cup to another because you will upset the solid coffee parts that sit at the bottom. So you cannot decide to take this coffee on the road with you and pour it in a "to go" cup. Just stay home and enjoy it. It may sound like a long and complicated process but it is actually quite easy to do and I have to tell you that when I offer it to a friend that never had it, they always love it and ask me where can they get it. I had friends that took pictures of the package so they can order it and make it themselves.

Great Greek Coffee
My wife loves Loumidis Greek coffee. We store the bag in the freezer, even after we open it, to keep it fresh. It is strong and has good taste.

Good price for imported product. Didn't notice any change in flavor from what I am used to. Freshness was there. Would recommend

Unusually delicious coffee
These grinds work for brewing as a regular cup of coffee with compelling results. I scoop two rounded tablespoons into a paper filter and employ the pour-over method with about eight ounces of boiled water for a luscious cup of coffee. The flavor is mellow but full of character, and rich, with lovely, pronounced toasted chocolate notes that, in my experience, are not common in such coffees. A very good find for the reasonable price.
