Happy With my Choice
I read a lot of reviews between all three models of this available and while I read many mixed reviews about the T450, I decided to go with it anyway. Having been a former sound engineer and a self proclaimed movie buff, I can tell you that I speak for the audiophile and the FX mixers out there looking for a great sound for a great price when I say that this is a fantastic option.I tested it with Bluetooth and Optical on my 43" UHD Crystal 4k Samsung RU8000 and could not find any discernable difference in sound quality, latency or equivalence. The optical may have a tiny bit better midrange but Its not noticeable enough to change my initial statement.Sound:1. The mids are mellow, the highs are a bit shrill almost as if that frequency band on the speaker has an exciter built in or as if the speakers dont handle highly compressed sound waves or exciters used, but when listening to music you can just kick the treble down to -1 and it goes away and cleans it all up nicely. The bass in just the sound bar alone is actually quite surprising. It sounds as if it goes down to about the 75-100hz range, which I've never found in any other soundbar without basspass. The sub has a nice even punch and from 60 - 10hz its beautifully even and you can hear it all the way down. It comes with 3 preset modes: Standard: This is the setting for music in my opinion. The adjustments to treble and bass in the settings effect standard mode. Game: This mode is a bit confusing. It seems to cut out all high end treble and low end bass and gives more of a mono sound quality. Im sure there's a technical use for this but I would just as well use the surround setting. - Surround: The soundbar does a fantastic job of reading the panning information and manages to keep the sound wide. I can hear the difference drastically from about 8 feet away but standing behind the couch (10-15') it actually seems to hold its depth.Look/Aesthetics:This is a very classy, black cloth sheen look. Very stereo theater system feel. I love it. Very discreet which I feel is important when your attention shouldn't be drawn to where the sound is coming from but the TV instead. Especially if its mounted on the wall.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've been slowly falling in love with Samsung over the years and now I can attest that they care about sound as well.

Met and exceeded expectations
There are lots of reviews on this system with technical jargon about sound reproduction and quality. To me the negative reviews are from audiophiles with much knowledge and little money. It's foolish to rate this system against a high end system. This is not what it is. What it is, is an inexpensive, easy to set up upgrade to standard TV speakers. I am very pleased with sound from about a 6 year old Samsung 55" 1080P TV. I do not have wireless capabilities on this TV so I am using an optical cable. I just plugged it all in, set my TV to external speakers and away I went. Nothing more complicated than that.I played a Disney movie first to evaluate the sound and I was more than pleased with it. I had a cheaper off-brand soundbar before and the difference is night and day. I have a much wider range of sound and at a reasonable volume, good deep bass. I then watched the evening news and a game show and the dialog was so much clearer than before. I even noticed how much better the annoying commercials sounded. This was the purpose that I bought this system with no other expectations beyond that. In that this system exceeded my expectations. I have a home audio system for music so I have no need to use this for music unless I choose to. For the money I think this is a great selection.PS maybe I missed it but I could not find anywhere where it said that an optical cord was included. I bought one separate unnecessarily however the one I bought is much higher quality. There is no HDMI cord included if that is your preferred connection method. As I said earlier, I have no wireless capability with my older TV.

A Game-Changer for Netflix and Chill
I have been using the SAMSUNG HW-T450 2.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio (2020) for a few weeks now, and let me tell you, this device has taken my Netflix and chill game to a whole new level!First off, the setup process was a breeze. Even my technologically challenged grandma could have done it. But, let's be honest, who needs grandparents when you have a soundbar that can make you feel like you're in the middle of a warzone or a romantic comedy, depending on what you're watching. The sound quality is pretty impressive for the price point. The Dolby Audio technology makes every explosion in an action movie sound like a firework show, and every whisper in a thriller movie feel like someone's breathing down your neck. It's like the soundbar has a mind of its own and knows exactly when to turn up the volume to create the most dramatic effect. However, I must say, the subwoofer is a little too enthusiastic for my taste. When watching Jurassic Park, I thought a T-Rex was going to burst through my living room wall. My cat, who was sleeping peacefully on the couch, was not too pleased with this sudden disturbance. But, hey, it's all in good fun, right? I mean, who doesn't want to feel like they're in the middle of a dinosaur park? And speaking of fun, let's talk about the remote control. It's so small and sleek that I can't find it half the time. It's like playing hide and seek with a piece of technology. I guess I could use the Samsung app to control it, but where's the fun in that?Overall, I give this soundbar four out of five stars. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a great addition to any movie night. Just make sure your pets are prepared for the action-packed sound effects. Here's a comparison between the Samsung HW-T450 2.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio and the Sony HT-S350 Soundbar:1. Sound Quality: Both the Samsung HW-T450 and Sony HT-S350 offer great sound quality with clear vocals and deep bass. However, the Samsung HW-T450 has a more immersive soundstage with its 3D surround sound technology, which gives you a more cinematic experience.2. Connectivity: Both soundbars come with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to easily connect your mobile device and stream music. However, the Samsung HW-T450 also comes with an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port, allowing you to connect it to your TV and control both devices with a single remote.3. Design: The Samsung HW-T450 has a sleek and modern design that will complement any home decor. It also comes with a wireless subwoofer that can be placed anywhere in the room for optimal bass performance. The Sony HT-S350 has a more traditional design with a slightly bulkier subwoofer.4. Price: The Samsung HW-T450 is slightly more affordable than the Sony HT-S350, making it a great option for those on a budget.Overall, both soundbars offer great sound quality and connectivity options. However, if you're looking for a more immersive soundstage and a sleek design at an affordable price, the Samsung HW-T450 might be the better option for you.
