Absolutely awesome when hooked up to a mac. Same high spec look and quality as the apple Mac monitor before. But it should be at that price…

Very pleased with this screen, it looks as good as the latest iMac screens (well to me anyway). I’m a graphic designer so I require excellent screen quality and this certainly delivers. I can charge my MacBook through it too which is handy and cuts down on required plug sockets.

Unlike everything you've read, this monitor does display the full 5K resolution in newer PC laptops. I've tested it in Windows 10 with an i7-1185G7 (2021) and i7-10870H (2020) laptop and it worked in both cases using a Belkin Thunderbolt 3 cable. You can control brightness through a free third party app available on the windows store - search LG Ultrafine.On Mac M1 it works as expected. It makes the M1 chug along a bit, as it's pushing 14.5million pixels 60 times each second, but it works, and it's gloriousPerfect for graphic design, photo editing, etc. Not a gaming monitor, but can also be used to watch videos for your own enjoyment. PPI is similar to a larger 8K TV, but with better colour accuracy to boot.Very impressed so far

I love the monitor. It goes great with my Macbook Pro 14 M1 Pro and charges so I only need 1 cable. The picture is really good and like the colors.A few things that bother me with this monitor:1. The web cam is poor. It constantly adjusts the brightness of the image, so that there is an almost "disco" effect when using it. It also has a very broad view and it is a little bit tricky to figure out how to narrow down what it is looking at. Given there aren't other 5k monitors out there at this price, I'd say, expect to get a better web cam and don't use this one. The one on the Macbook is much better, just that it points up at my chin so I need an eye level one.2. The speakers also aren't as good as on my Macbook, and I'm not sure if I tried the mic, but again, I don't use it over the macbooks.3. Support is very slow, and the main advice on the monitor was: there is no sensitivity configuration so I should try moving the monitor.4. It does not tilt to vertical (which for some reason I thought it did. That's my fault for not noticing.

If you have a MacBook Pro or Mac mini this monitor is excellent. It also works with the latest MacBook Air models and iPad Pro. The colours are perfect. True Tone works a treat although you need to keep the laptop open for this to work.The sound is more than adequent and much netter than cheaper 4k monitors. Having used LG 4k monitors such as 27UL850, I can say that this monitor is way better if you can stretch the budget. The monitor brightness and volume can be controlled on the keyboard or Touch Bar and there's also a FaceTime camera which is of excellent quality.My MacBook Pro runs a bit warm when using this but the fans don't really kick in unless I am doing photo / video editing. So I choose to use it with the laptop open. The benefit of this also means you have an extra screen so you can use dual screen mode.One of the best monitors out there if you want great image and video quality, good colour reproduction and clear text. IT has a high pixel density so everything is really clear.If you want a gaming machine and something to just consume media on, maybe go for a cheaper 4k monitor and buy some external speakers.

Ich bin mit dem Monitor mehr als sehr zufrieden :) Er funktioniert perfekt mit Windows uns Mac.

Ho acquistato il monitor per abbinarlo ad un Mac Studio M2, si è rivelato un abbinamento eccellente, con funzionalità del tutto paragonabili a quelle di un monitor Apple dal costo decisamente superiore. Suppongo che il pannello sia di fatto lo stesso del monitor Apple e l'integrazione è pressoché perfetta, attaccato il cavo USB-C semplicemente funziona e funziona l'hub USB posteriore al monitor. Il profilo del monitor viene letto immediatamente ed è possibile personalizzarlo con estrema accuratezza via software con i tools di Apple da sistema operativo, non si ottiene la precisione di una calibrazione hardware ma comunque si raggiunge un ottimo risultato.Il livello di uscita delle casse incorporate è ampiamente più che adeguato, certo non sono casse per ascoltare musica con una qualche pretesa di qualità ma per questo non sono sufficienti neppure le casse incorporate nel monitor Apple. La telecamera incorporata è altrettanto adeguata, si attiva in base alle necessità e fornisce un'immagine chiara e ben definita.La finitura dello schermo è molto gradevole, leggermente troppo brillante ma per avere uno schermo perfetto bisognerebbe rivolgersi a monitor dalla finitura opaca che oramai appartengono solo all'ambito strettamente professionale con costi di migliaia e migliaia di euro a parità di caratteristiche.La struttura è molto solida e gradevole, non certo stilosa come il monitor Apple ma ha dalla sua una perfetta regolabilità in altezza ed inclinazione.Confesso di averlo comprato con una sensazione di ripiego rispetto al monitor originale Apple, ci lavoro da circa un mese ed oggi non solo è scomparsa la sensazione di ripiego ma anzi sono arrivato a preferirlo: un monitor che fa il monitor, lo fa bene senza altre ambizioni e complicazioni.

Warum habe ich so lange auf mit dieser Investition gewartet...?Das frage ich mich mittlerweile. Klar, es ist viel Geld. Aber ich arbeite täglich 6-10 Stunden am Rechner und habe vorher den günstigsten 27 Zoll Full HD (1920p) im Einsatz gehabt, den es hier zu kaufen gab.Und das dann in Kombination mit einem knapp 3.000 € MacBook Pro - Finde den Fehler.Nach etlichen Jahren von Kopfschmerzen am Rechner und literweise Wasser, gelber Brillen am Rechner etc. - weil woran soll es sonst liegen - habe ich endlich mal ein paar Stunden YouTube durchgespielt und mir einen nahezu perfekten Arbeitsplatz gegönnt.Der 5k Bildschirm ist in Kombination mit dem BENQ ScreenBar Halo (must-have!!) und einer 1-Arm-Halterung von Invision geliefert worden. Seitdem sind meine Kopfschmerzen vollständig verschwunden.4k vs. 5k----------Da auch ich mich gefragt habe, ob der große Kostensprung zu 4k überhaupt notwendig ist:Ja, ist es, wenn du einen Computer mit 5k Ausgang hast. Was bei jedem vernünftigem MacBook der Fall ist. Das Bild wird sonst durch einen Algorithmus runterskaliert und dabei gehen sau viel Details verloren. Ist ja irgendwie logisch. Auf YT gibt es sehr gute Videos dazu mit Details, für diejenigen, die die Materie dahinter verstehen wollen.Insgesamt war das die beste Anschaffung des Jahres. Neben meinem Staubsauger Roboter (roborock s7 maxv ultra - BESTE). Und ich merke gerade, wie privilegiert ich geworden bin - LOL.

Dopo una lunga ed attenta analisi ho scelto questo LG 27’. Ho acquistato questo monitor per usarlo nel mio studio: ho una attività di creazione siti web, grafica e fotografia. Collegato a MacBook Pro Apple tramite connessione Thunderbird 3. PRO: ottima visione, adattamento al Mac perfetta, webcam con una ottica migliore del MacBook, il Mac sembra in generale più rapido. CONTRO: plastiche e giunture potrebbero essere migliorate, audio un po’ deludente.Nel complesso è una ottima soluzione per chi non può fare a meno della mobilità di un portatile, ed allo stesso tempo ha bisogno di un monitor davvero valido!Consigliato a chi si occupa di grafica a livello professionale. Sono molto soddisfatto e lo consiglio! E’ il miglior monitor al momento sul mercato per uso Pro.—- aggiuntaIl monitor ha un pratico cavo thunderbird3 con il quale connette il Mac: alimentazione, usb propagata e trasmissione video in un unico cavo! L’alimentazione del portatile lo tengo nella borsa così sono sempre pronto alla mobilità e ad andare dai clienti.Sul retro ci sono prese usb3.La webcam e’ molto valida e il video e’ luminoso molto molto ma davvero molto meglio di quello del portatile!Il monitor ha una luminosità ben distribuita, davvero bello e luminoso. Io lo uso a meno della metà di luminosità.Base stabile è bellissimo da vedersi!Uno dei monitor più belli con il quale ho lavorato in 25 anni!NOTAI monitor rgb di 20/10 anni fa erano calibrati per la stampa, ma non per il multimedia. Invece questo LG 27’ ha una gestione dei colori ideale per i tempi moderni: non è’ un classico sRGB, ma gestisce saturazione e brillantezza simili al modo di vedere ‘di oggi’. Cioè se una foto la vedete bene qui, la vedrete bene anche su smartphone! Colori ricchi e brillanti. Ecco perché lo consiglio a chi si occupa di multimedia, web, video.
