The spoon has a great shape to hug a flat pan bottom, and I’ve had no problems with melting how I use it (not in deep frying, more for sauces and sauteeing. It could be a bit stiffer and less bendy (but would than cost more).

It doesn’t flex at all

This thing should get an award for being the most ergonomically unsuited utensil in history. For reasons unknown, the designer (I'm being generous) decided to put a very unnatural bend in the handle - looks great but causes very unnatural movements trying to use it. After a few weeks using it for frying bacon I decided to put it under a 500 degree F broiler for about 8 minutes - the handle became slightly plastic and I could force it back straight like a normal fork. Works much better that way. Otherwise it's great.

These are great and hold up much better than the hard plastic ones

The media could not be loaded.  The straight side of this spoon is great for making sure that you can cover the entire bottom of your pot or pan when stirring your dishes. Also, the extra long handles allow more distance away from splattering dishes like Chowders and Grits! I had to order the ones without the holes as well.

Durable and long lasting. I've finally found a high heat resistant fork, made from single solid piece of nylon. It's the only solid one currently on the market and at a bargain bin price! I went back and bought multiple so I don't have to keep washing the same one. Great for browning beef, stirring boiling pasta, and stir fry veggies.

I've been searching for a spatula/slotted spoon (a "spoontula" if you will) combination like this for some time. The Mrs. had one she loved that finally wore out.She's thrilled and I'm very pleased with the quality and reasonably priced - especially compared with the any cuisine brand that ends in "-art." ;)
