This is a UPDATE! My dishwasher was not working properly prior to the following review: I no longer have a sudsing problem and I can PROUDLY say: I strongly recommend Finish Liquid with Lemon. I can now run MOST after dinner cycles on a 1 hour cycle and my dishes are spotless”. I am completely in agreement with the person who recommended this product and it doesn’t react with my cook wear causing that AWFUL oxidation which I had to separate and wash again or either wash by hand. What a bummer! The Finish doesn’t cause that! This product was recommended as a product that would not suds up my dishwasher in comparison to the new formula of Cascade Platinum Plus Pods that I’ve been using for a long time. I understand this is a problem for many people. This product also causes suds to form during the wash cycle. But a positive is that it doesn’t cause the smut oxidation to form on my cookware. So it is a trade off. This liquid is not as efficient in cleaning. If the pods did not form the smut, I would return to them. It’s going to be a higher cost per use than the pods also.

Works great in my dishwasher! My dishes come out clean! And a great value for the money! Does not leave behind any residue or unpleasant scents.

Seems to work well. I've always used pods. Thus seems to do almost as good of a jib. I've noticed I've had to rewash pans. But plates a d glasses come out clean.

I’ve been using Finish Gel Liquid Dishwasher Detergent for regular household loads, and it has done a great job cleaning without needing much pre-rinsing. Dishes come out consistently clean, including plates with dried-on food and greasy cookware. The gel dissolves well during the cycle, leaves no residue behind, and works just as effectively on lighter loads as it does on heavier ones. What I like most is how well it handles grease in a single wash. Pots, pans, and plastic containers come out noticeably cleaner compared to some other detergents I’ve tried. It’s easy to use, doesn’t clog the dispenser, and has a mild scent that isn’t overpowering. Overall, it’s a dependable option if you want strong cleaning performance without overthinking your detergent choice.

This stuff is phenomenal! I've never had cleaner, spotless dishes that I can recall! Well impressed!

I ordered this because I ran out of detergent and my regular Cascade was out of stock when my grocery order was delivered. This took a couple days to get here so I grabbed a pack of powder packets at DT (they didn't have liquid) to hold me over. I rinse dishes before they go in the DW, don't get me wrong, they still have some stuff on them, but no chunks and whatever rinses off before I load. This does not clean dishes. I thought my DW was acting up. Cleaned the filters, etc. Nope. It's this awful detergent. You can still see grease on the dishes and if anything had herbs you will find them on every single dish. Also my DW is stainless steel inside and there are now white drip marks on the door below the dispenser from this detergent. As much as I detest going to the store, I went and bought a bottle of Cascade after going back to the dollar store emergency packets because the non-name DT packets worked better than this Finish gel. Never again. The few loads I ran using this had to be run TWICE for the dishes to not have obvious greasy residue. Total waste of money. Don't buy this unless you're one of those people who washes the dishes before putting them in the DW (meaning they already look clean - like you only put them in the DW to sanitize them...).

I find that this gel doesn’t have the cleaning power of the pods. Yet the pods are too much for my smaller size Bosch dishwasher that specifically recommends Finish products. The pods don’t rinse clean leaving etched and cloudy glass but this gel just doesn’t do the basic job of simply cleaning the plates let alone dirty glass pot lids. I don’t know what to do.

This is a good brand. But the Supplier did not stick to the promised date of delivery by Amazon. He took his own time to deliver

It doesn't work well with LG dishwasher and its too big a bottle now stuck with it.
