Solid Quality, good fit
This Magpul branded hat is built on the Richardson 112 model which is the same make/model as my other hats. I did not know that upon purchase but am happy nonetheless.Mine was made in Vietnam. Others may be made in a different country, specifically china, depending upon the color scheme and sourcing at that time. Kind of ironic that actual Magpul products are made in the USA but their branded apparel is not.Lastly, the color (Olive) is awesome. I may purchase the khaki next. Also, the patch is solid and fits the hat form perfectly making the dome (or unicorn horn?) not look so bulbous.

Simple, lightweight, breathable, well made
Overall, this is a great basic cap for normal/casual wear in warm to mildly hot weather. It's nice to keep in my car because I like to roll my windows down (and not have my long hair flying all around); and I don't really like to keep flipping my sun visor up & down or wear sunglasses while driving.I got the brown & tan cap with the round Magpul logo in the front. It's a simple cap with a minimalistic design in neutral colors, which gives it an understated look. It has a plastic adjustable tab in the back. I know these tend to wear out & break over time, but I prefer them over the hook & loop (Velcro) or pull type adjustment bands. (My long hair sometimes gets caught in the hook & loop strip, and some of the cheaper pull type adjustments have a tendency to loosen with wear. Plus, I have a smaller head; and I don't like the look of the excess fabric on pull adjustments just hanging freely or sticking out to the side.)So far, after a few months of occassional use here & there, the cap has worn well without any issues. It's not structured (padded or made with stiff material anywhere on the inside of the cap). Therefore, it just forms to the shape of my head/hairstyle. I wasn't bothered about any odd or bulky shape, or having to reshape the structure of the cap to look how I wanted. It's lightweight and breathable. Despite how lightweight the top is, the bill of the cap is sturdy, shapeable (I like to round mine out a bit), and I haven't had any issues with it holding up - even when wearing the cap kind of loose. The bill isn't too long, short, or wide. I bought this cap specifically to help keep the sun out of my eyes and to help shade my face while outdoors during bright Summer days. It has served those purposes well. I don't wear it ultra tight; but for those who like to wear their caps pretty tight, there isn't any weird banding on the inside that would leave crazy looking imprints on your forehead after removing it.The only "minor issues" I can think to mention is that the hat still leaves the back & top of your head feeling pretty hot while your standing under direct sunlight on a very hot, sunny day. Also, the cap will get damp/wet if you're sweating a lot; and there's no special banding or anything to help prevent sweat from constantly rolling down your face. But all of this is typical with any simple, unstructured/half mesh cap.I've mostly wiped down the inside of the front of the cap with a wet wash cloth (sometimes using a tiny bit of soap, rinsing with water, & blotting dry) to remove sunscreen or any makeup build up. I've done some spot cleaning on the outside, using only a wet wash cloth. I've only hand-washed & air-dried the entire cap once, using a mild detergent & very luke warm water. It still looked the same afterwards... no fading or warping. Although, I was pretty gentle while washing it. Other than that, I tend to throw the cap around a lot, cram it in a bag or the pocket behind my car passenger seat, etc. So far, it has stood up to this kind of "normal" wear & treatment. It's stitched together well and the fabric is sturdy for casual wear, so I haven't experienced any issues with thread or fabric unraveling.*Side note that might be helpful for some: I, personally, would not recommend this cap for use while shooting firearms. When using firearms of any kind, I prefer non-adjustable tactical caps with a bit of structure & molding on the inside, a more durable fabric, and no materials that could easily melt. This is to ensure I have better protection should an expelled round casing accidentally land on my head. I don't worry so much about the impact of the casing since I have thick hair. However, I have experienced incidents where hot brass scorched my cap and another melted the plastic adjustable band of a cap into my hair. (Casings sometimes just get lodged in the weirdest places without anyone noticing. It's happened to me quite a bit.) In my opinion, this cap would not be appropriate for use while shooting firearms - especially outdoors during very hot weather. Not only is it not ideal for protection/accident-prevention purposes, but it doesn't work well to control any sweat that may run down your face.

The cap has a good design, and fit perfectly on me.
I ordered the cap after seeing the person worn it in the image section. The cap has a good design regarding sizes (crown, visor) in my opinion. It fit me perfectly. However, I think the sweatband fabric should be softer, the adjustable closure should be a little longer for large or oversize head.

The best hat ever
Very comfortable and good quality. Mine came in with gray in the back instead of white like the pic but I like it better

Great Hat and Patch!
The fit is nice. Mid-crown height and slope, so it looks good on medium and large heads. I have an egg shaped head and it looks good: not too small and not too boxy. This is a “Richardson 112” model hat so research that. I would bend the bill in with rubber bands or gently from the ends in. Only after I did that did it look right. Mesh breathes well. Snap back style and flexibility is great. All around great hat with a large patch.
