Size:20 Brackets | Color:White Desunia... The Closet Professionals! These closet shelf brackets offer all sorts of versatility. For a really quick "down and dirty" installation, use them by themselves (in place of any wall cleats and end supports). Simply screw them right over the drywall (taking care to get a good bite into the studs), throw a shelf on top, cut the rod to length, and you can be hanging clothes inside of 30 minutes! Another approach would be to have a cleat on the back wall of the closet to give the shelf a little more support and to lend a more refined appearance to the job. This bracket can handle BOTH methods in a way we know you'll appreciate. Here's how it works... The horizontal and the angled members of the bracket are connected with a rivet through a slot, which allows each component to slide back and forth about 3/4". Because of this design innovation, any size cleat (up to 3/4") can be used, or no cleat at all, and the bracket will compensate automatically!. Oh, and BTW, there's another nice advantage to this design. It allows you to temporarily rotate the angled member of the bracket 90 degrees, giving you lots of elbow room to screw them in place! Sweet!These brackets can also be used in conjunction with our chrome end supports when there are extra wide spans to deal with. Just use cleating on the back and side walls, install the end supports as you normally would, and add brackets wherever you feel some additional support is called for.Here's what you get...- 20 white mid brackets- Matching installation screws

shelf pole support
they work good and in my case the builder had put a insane pole of 85" long in hre closet and of course after putting on a lot of clothing the weight made it bow in the middle and after a while the pole would fall It only needed one of these it works by putting one dead center the pole now it stays level no matter how many clothes she over loads it with Now really why would any builder make it without a much needed center support anyway because if it bows it does needs some support or it's eventually going to fall for the wood bends slowly after a while to the point of falling

Bars Don't Fit
I dont think any size closet bar could fit in the space provided. Not even a shower rod was able to squeeze into the space. These definitely need to be stretched open by heating the element, which in turn causes discoloration. Then would have to repaint the surface. Lots of work for an already DIY project of installing these yourself.

Hardware for Supports Doesn't Penetrate Studs
The supports are incredibly hard to set up. The hardware provide is cheap with the screws for mounting to the wall stripping on the first effort to set them up. The screws were also not strong enough to penetrate the studs. I tried even to drill a hole for the screws, only to have the screws still strip. To complete the project, I had to go to the local hardware store and purchase additional, and stronger, screws. I would not recommend this product at all.

Bad screws
The braces themselves are fine but the screws that come with it are terrible. I drilled pilot holes and made sure I had the best fitting Phillips head, but two of my first three screws stripped on me after driving them about half way.If you buy this, use your own screws.

Classy way to add much needed closet storage
Recently used these for several closet shelves and hanging rods. Home depot sells white melamine shelving with bullnose front edge that worked perfectly on these. Easy to install level and flush. Nice chrome finish to match the rods we used. Very classy way to add a lower rod and space for several pairs of shoes, etc. Well made and sturdy.

Worked well to support a sagging rod and shelf
A five foot wide section of oval closet rod was sagging slightly along with the shelf above it. This shelf bracket solved the problem. The fact that the angled portion of the bracket can be swung away to permit the top screws to be tightened is a nice feature.
