Slower speed needed for older laptops
Bought for an older (2017 Dell XPS15) after one of the RAM modules failed. Got the same speed as specified in the laptop spec due to the age and some comments online about faster speed RAM (often cheaper) causing issues in some cases. Replaced both modules to avoid any compatibility issues. Works fine.

Excellent cost-effective upgrade to my old Dell laptop
Excellent cost-effective upgrade to my old Dell laptop, increasing the RAM from 4GB to 12GB. I just had to be prepared to open it up, which wasn't easy - it's a compact design, so no convenient hatches. The memory works like a charm, reducing the time to load and switch between apps by 50-300%. Feels like a major CPU upgrade!I bought this upgrade from the Crucial Memory UK web site, using the system checker app to make sure I bought compatible memory - this sends you to Amazon to buy the upgrade when you've chosen it; a great system that inspires confidence.I also bought a Kingston A400 SSD to replace the laptop's hard disk, but that's another story - and review. If you're prepared to open up your PC/laptop, bother upgrades are well worth considering. Much cheaper than a new system.

A great purchase
I wanted this to upgrade my Asus laptop memory.Worked a treat although I first thought I'd killed my laptop as it wouldn't boot but it just needed to be left for 5 minutes while the laptop reset itself to use the memory.Well worth it.

Ram that work
I have an HP laptop and I bought different ram from amazon, I put them on when they arrived but my laptop would not start. With these RAM my laptop started strait away, very happy with them, good price.

Excellent Memory
Excellent bit of memory...installed into my Lenovo Ideapad 3 with no problems and now have 12gb. Purchased this brand because of all the good reviews.

Windows 11 is better with 16gb of ram
What a difference 16gb of ram makes on a laptop with Windows 11. If you have anything less than 16gb you will find Windows 11 sluggish and barely usable.Well worth the upgrade 5 stars
