Excellent for the price, comfortable to wear
Always bearing in mind the low cost of this watch, it performs very well. One can pay several hundred pounds to get advanced features but the basic functions are excellentl. Just consider what information you really need and pay accordingly. The battery life is excellent. I've had the watch for 6 days and still have 50% remaining! It was quite easy to link the watch to the APP on my iPhone and the connection has remained stable. Synchronisation is simple; just open the APP and the process is automatic. NB it's not possible to link to a PC.The pulse rate monitor is not so accurate but gives a good idea of trends. I've used an existing watch linked to a chest strap to check this.Step counting and distance measuring is good but there is no indication of ascent/descent or actual route taken. You need to spend more money for these features.Sleep monitoring was quite accurate.Notification of txt messages etc. was easy. The screen is easy to read indoors but bright sunlight is a minor problem.ConclusionAn excellent watch for the price, and looks great

An decent watch for the price-conscious buyer.
Firfort Smart Watch.**Disclosure; I received this item for free in return for an honest unbiased review**I have used a few smart watches/fitness trackers over the last few years. Some of them have worked well (Fitbit, Huawei), and some have been frustrating experiences (the more generic manufacturers' products).First impressions were okay. The packaging doesn't ape the luxury of more expensive brands, which is appropriate given the price range of this watch (£36.00 as of time of writing). Expectations on function should also be tempered accordingly. The watch is lightweight on the wrist (I certainly forget I'm wearing it on occasion). However, I do question the longevity due to the construction; the plastics feel cheap and the strap is functional at best. The charger works well - utilising a magnetic connection - and is less fiddly than other brands (even some of the premium ones). Set-up was easy enough (although you need to do this via the VeryFitPro app, and not your phone's Bluetooth).I cycle each day to work and so, usually, I opt for a watch that has built-in GPS. The Fitfort, naturally for its price, doesn't have this built-in but, according to the manual (more on that later) will sync with your phone's GPS. On my first cycle to work, the time and heart rate synced perfectly to the VeryFitPro app. However, despite the app having permissions for location services on my phone, it hadn't recorded the route I took; it didn't record any route. There is a function in the watch's menu for location services, which is greyed out. Pressing this option seemingly does nothing. There is also nothing obvious in the app which would remedy this. Interestingly, this is not covered in the supplied manual, like some other functions. The manual seems incomplete in general, and certainly wasn't overly useful. Whatever I tried; I couldn't get the route function to work. The heart-rate function works as expected and seems quite accurate compared with other watches. The same can be said with the step recording. These should be a given at any price point though. Notifications can be received via a select few phone apps (WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook, etc). However, I found this was more obtrusive than necessary and disabled it. I did, however, like the physical function button on the side of the watch. This made navigating the menu a little easier than watches I've used that are purely operated via screen menus. Activating and stopping my activities was simple and intuitive this way.On reflection, the watch is pretty good for its price point. The screen is nice and bold, and the resolution pretty good all considered. But, the lack of clear instructions/solutions to problems (in my case the inability to record my route via the phone's GPS) really hampered the experience. I have doubts whether the watch will survive heavy regular use due to the build quality (but, again, expectations should be relative to its price). Chances are, if like me you want something tougher and functionally more complete, you will opt for an, admittedly more expensive, brand watch (such as a Fitbit, etc). However, if all you require is a decent looking smart watch that will show time, steps, heart rate, and notifications, then you'd be hard-pressed to find something with better value than this. It should be noted that there appears to be a few brands showcasing the same watch as their own (I guess this is a generic design that is simply "re-badged").

Fantastic entry level classy smart watch
Delivery was very fast. Packaging good.Product looked smart in the box and my immediate impression was that this smartwatch looked high end and much like a well known expensive range. The shape of the watch and its black finish went a long way to doing this.Keen to get started I wanted to get it charged. The charging port is a magnetic interface of nodes on the USB cable which snaps strongly to the underside of the watch. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was already 100% charged but later I found that charging is rapid.Operating the watch is so simple. You just have to learn which way to swipe to get to your desired function. It's only a matter of swiping the correct way to enter specific function fields. Its essential that you download the associated app (I did this via playstore) and once the device detects each other you're connected. Synchronise takes jo time at all and the date / time link in.As for the sports mode, currently I've only done a short run and a walk but no sooner did I start off I could easily monitor what effort / distance / pace I was doing. The display is easy to read. Heart rate accuracy might not be as good as having a heart strap, but it's good enough.Like most products now, waterproof tolerance is as it says on the box. I would prefer one that can be fully submerged for a longer period but it's great for what it is.Storage of data is good for recall. Calorie counting is good for those needing that data but relies on correct biometrics.Additional functions such as message reception, call acknowledgement, sleep monitoring are very handy aspects to have all at your immediate disposal. In my honest opinion, this product is a fantastic entry level smart watch, meeting the needs of those who want to monitor their performance whilst having a stylish gadget on their wrist.
