So far so good, but can NOT be coverted to Natural Gas.
We installed this in a shop/guest house a couple years ago. Makes total sense for that application - we rarely need hot water there, so it makes no sense to keep a hot water tank hot all the time. With this it uses no energy for weeks at a time, yet we have nearly instant hot water when we do need it.It has worked fine for us so far - plenty of hot water for one person at a time to take a shower, or use the sink. A serviceman really put it down, saying that Bosch has a horrible reputation. Not sure if he knew what he was talking about, but we haven't had any trouble so far.One major dissapointment: we recently got natural gas to our property. When I went to convert the water heater I found that it's not possible: LP only. Now we are stuck with it - everything else on the property is on Nat. Gas, but we can't get rid of our propane tank until we replace our Bosch.

The best - $ for $
This is my second Bosch heater purchase. I put one in my current home and it has worked flawlessly for the years - never were I or my wife (and 2 teenage sons) in want of hot water. This unit was installed in a vacation home where the random, part time occupancy will only amplify my savings - why pay for hot water when I'm not there?
