Upped My Cereal Game
I love making my own cereal from oats, nuts, fruit, and zero calorie sweetener. The only problem I had was that this breakfast wasn't very high in protein, although quite satiating for the calories. I was searching for a solution when I came across these. I have never left a review in my life but I decided I'd write one for these because I love this stuff. Here are some notes if you are considering buying.1. The macros are awesome. 20 grams of protein per 100 calories makes this easy to fit into whatever your macro goals are.2. Flavor is fairly neutral and a little earthy. This isn't a pro or a con but might be helpful to know. I prefer this because I can flavor it however I like. Personally I use erythritol to sweeten, and I like adding cinnamon and maple extract to my cereals.3. Crunchy; similar to puffed rice but takes more time to break down. Doesn't leave any residue feeling in my mouth (like some high protein cereals might).4. By volume, 25 grams is approximately 2/3 cup.

Great source of plant protein without fat
These puffs are great and just as advertised. They are as small as I expected, like rice crispy size. They have no taste so it is like tofu where they take on the flavor of the dish. My goal was to add more plant protein to my diet since I started working out every day, these are a great way to add protein without adding a lot of fat or carbs. Highly recommend if that is your goal. I add to my wraps or salads. Very crunchy.

Increased my blood sugar.
I'm sure these are well made and good in many ways, but if you have problems with blood sugar, beware. The serving size is 25g (I really wish they would make measuring it easier by saying how many tablespoons that is, but...). So I carefully weighed this and it seems to be between 5 and 6 tablespoons. In that there should be 2g of carbs and no sugar. That I can handle but this product increases my blood sugar so much I had stopped eating it.This is not a complaint about the company or the product itself, but something is out of kilter, so I wanted to warn anyone who does have to watch their carbs seriously.

Great for protein
Great choice for upping your protein game, I’m just lacking on ideas of how to use them, besides salad toppers. They do have an underlying taste to them, but it isn’t necessarily bad. If you’re vegan or plant based, I would recommend.

Great as an additive
These don't seem to be intended for anything other than adding protein to other foods. Truth be told, that's exactly what I was looking for and it does a great job of that. They are best for adding texture and they certainly deliver. For the reviews about the taste, they do not offer much and that seems to be the point. It's much more of an additive and it does a great job of adding protein and texture. I add it to Greek yogurt and cottage cheese as well as all sorts of random other dishes to get extra protein. It's a wonderful option that isn't whey isolate, albeit very niche.

About to receive my 3rd bag
I am very pleased with this product. Finished two bags so far. Check out that macro nutrient ratio! It reminds me of unsweetened rice crispy cereal. Amazing for boosting my protein intake on plant based diet. I add 40 grams of these puffs to my oatmeal! I added them to pancakes. I sprinkle these on yogurt or anything that’s not savory when I want to increase protein

Not returnable, Not a whole grain
This item is not returnable. In today's times most items can be returned and its not fair that we are not allowed to return this item if we did not like it. The item description is not accurate, they are marketing this as if it a whole grain that is puffed. But its not the case which means its a processed food and not a whole grain. May work for some but I follow a whole foods diet so I avoid any processed foods.
