Short for a Russian SKS
This rod is short for a Russian SKS. I was missing a cleaning rod for my Yugo AK47, and this rod fits perfectly. I figured it would be too long, and I’d have to shorten it. So, it works for me.

Too small
The media could not be loaded. Idk how it fits on everyone else's but his rod is too small for my yugo. It doesnt even screw in. Definitely returning

Yugo 59/66 compatible.
Works with the yugo 59/66 rifle fits perfectly with the bayonet folded or deployed. Works as it should, and completes the rifle. Bought for looks more than function, but will function if need be.

Didn't fit my Yugo but worth the buy
I give it 4 stars because I received exactly what I ordered. Problem is it doesn't fit in my yugo w/ bayonet. I will still keep this in the rifle case, as an authentic tool for the SKS. 4/5 didnt fit rifle/still worth the buy.

File off the threaded part!!!
The threads at the end made it about a quarter inch too long. Used a metal file and filed it off, now fits perfectly (Yugoslavian sks e series serial number, made in 1968)

It's fulfilling its purpose.
Had been restoring an SKS. And now that I have this cleaning rod as apart of its kit, I could say that I've just about restored a fun milsurp rifle.
