This glove gave exactly the right comfort and support for me
My arthritis primarily affects the base of my thumb. I discovered that during my sleep I tend to tuck my hand in a hyper-flexed position when I roll to my side, and this was causing the pain to be worse in the mornings. When I tried one of IMAK's other gloves ("computer glove"), I found it somewhat helped avoid overflexing the hand at night, but I knew I really needed a bit more bracing, without resorting to something actually rigid or hard. I also cannot tolerate a velcro-type band around the wrist, as it compresses a damaged nerve, so choices were limited. I was thrilled to discover this glove, particularly as I already had some faith in the IMAK brand. It is longer than the "computer glove" and has a mildly stiffening band. It has been perfect for my need, providing gentle resistance and a mild overall compression that helps in the same way as when you might gently and instinctively squeeze an arm that just got hit by a mis-aimed ball or a toe that just impacted an object in the dark. Totally works for me, as I did not want it to be rigid and find the gentle bead cushion perfect -- if you need actual rigid bracing, this is probably not for you.

Fantastic for some wrist/hand problems
So I bought one of these because my wrist and hand were often tired while typing. I'm not sure I have real carpal-tunnel syndrome, or if it's just my desk set-up at work (not exactly ergonomically correct to say the least). But anyway, it definitely helps. My hand/wrist don't feel nearly as fatigued, and I notice it right away if I don't have it on.But my favorite part about this glove was the fact that it helped my mother so much. I decided to send her one because she was complaining about her hand/wrist. She has bad arthritis with swollen joints, carpal tunnel, and some kind of painful knot on her hand. This glove helps her tremendously, and she wears it for most all of her household chores as well as typing. She has thanked me for it many times.I guess it might not work for everyone. And I do think it'd be better if the splint inside it were stiffer (I think I saw some complaints that that part wasn't stiff enough). However, it's certainly worth trying, and there's no reason you can't remove the splint and put something stiffer in there if you need more support. I find the beads very comfortable for resting my hand while typing. It was a very good purchase as far as I'm concerned, thanks. :-)

If at first you don't like the gloves, keep using them ...
When I first tried this glove on, I thought, "Man, I really hate this. It just feels so uncomfortable and unnatural." However, I read a few other comments that said the glove takes some getting used to. So I decided to keep using the glove with the hope that it would feel better. Needless to say, it did.My particular problem is with my palms: it's painful laying my bare palm on my desk. The little microbeads in the Imak Smart glove, though, provide a nice, flexible cushioning that alleviates the pain enough so that it's not too bothersome. The glove also provides nice support for the wrist. I would say that I cannot type quite as easily with the gloves on (especially on my left hand), but it's a more than reasonable tradeoff. The gloves are a bit pricey, but worth it because they work pretty well.

Smart Glove
This product has definitely make my wrists feeling a lot better. I sit in front of a computer sometimes over 8 hours a day, with all the typing my wrists started hurting. With a recommendation from a stranger who saw me wearing a wrist wrap he told me about Imak smart glove. Here are some of the reasons I like about them,-Forms around my wrap perfectly-The plate on the top restricts me from any harmful movements from my wrists, but not too tight where I cannot move around.-It's stretchy. It might get a little loose after a while, but after you wash them it comes back to it's original form-You can put them in the freezer and wear them cold, which helps with the swellBasically... this is definitely a smart buy! I would totally recommend it to anyone who sits in front of the computer all the time!

IMAK Smart Glove-- Great product!
Between graduate school, and an office job, I end up typing a tremendous amount. I was having all kinds of carpal tunnel issues, and this glove has been a lifesaver! For the price, I thought it was worth a try. It was recommended to me by another graduate student (who also works full time) and I am incredibly thankful. It has lived up to the great recommendation I received.Very nice reversible design, and the two pack of gloves has allowed me to have one glove at the office, and one at home/school. The price is great too. It provides a nice amount of support without constricting my ability to type too much, and has really reduced the pain and inflammation I was experiencing. It took a day or two to get used to, but now I am never without it, and I'm even using it to type this review. I rarely review products, but the IMAK Smart Glove was so good, I had to pass along the positive feedback.Thank you for the great product. The seller sent the item very promptly which was appreciated as well.

AVOID carpal tunnel!
This really works to protect your wrist and hand when you use a mouse! I noticed my right hand becomes painful when using the mouse at work and at home. I find this to be amazingly easy to use and helpful. I want to get another one to keep at home, as I take one to work all the time. I measured my hand as some reviewer suggested as I recall and it fits great.

Great item! Lightweight and comfortable
This works great for my RA. Please ignore the height/weight comments to figure out your size. I’m not a small female but I have small hands and wrists. So the small worked for me. You know if your hands are small, medium, or larger. This helped with the discomfort and allowed my hand to sit in place to aleve the pain.

Not as I expected
I have been experiencing pain in my wrist and decided to give this glove a try. It takes some time to get used to the glove expecially when you're typing on the keyboard. After some weeks using it, I haven't noticed too much improvement on my pain. I giving it three stars because it does help with the posture of your wrist and it feels comfortable when using the mouse.
