God book

Too complex!! Not made easy at all!! Was looking for a concise and simple guide to taking care of cardio patients. This is not it! Way to broad and complicated!

I considered this purchase as a refresher until I viewed the sample pages and came across language, more than once, that I was not ok with- "More common in BLACKS". I'm sorry, black what? Cats, dogs or PEOPLE/CLIENTS? Adding one of those words to the word black humanizes them and is less offensive. I won't be purchasing, this book needs an update to the modern century.

I absolutely HATE the cardiovascular system. Loath it entirely. I specialize in Neurotrauma and have worked in ICU for seven-ish years, and since our unit is going to the Beacon award I need to get my CCRN. Took the test with zero studying and missed it by three in....CARDIOVASCULAR. I rented this book to help me understand why people are so obsessed with this crap pump and this book helped. It wasn't quite ICU level but it helped nail the basics.

Product arrived damaged....I am planning on using throughout nursing school and my career. Disappointed with damage.

Arrived before than tbe expected, good book, simple language, just the most relevant information. Good studying reference.
