We've had this mat -- the extra large (30" x 48") "Tree of Life" (or "Welcome Tree") with classic paisley border in bronze color -- for only a few weeks. I can report on our initial impressions and one *concern* now. I hope to provide an update in the near future on how the mat is holding up to normal foot traffic.Basically, I am pleased with the design. The "Welcome Tree" is different in a good way, and it is "welcoming." I like the large size. The rubber border is sturdier than I expected, based on other reviews. I wasn't sure if I'd like the bronze coloring of the border, but it's a nice change from standard black and corresponds well with our entrance area. We have it in protected location outside.My one concern is that the black paint used to create the tree feels a little tacky under foot. When I first stepped on the tree, which is unavoidable, I could sense some minor tackiness of the paint on the sole of my shoes. My first thought was that it may have been manufactured relatively recently and the paint hadn't fully cured yet. Yet, now, weeks into using the mat, that slight tackiness is still apparent. The paint doesn't seem to stick to the sole of a shoe or spread to other parts of the coir -- although I'm left wondering how the painted design will wear over time or react to continued foot traffic and the usual scraping of soles on the mat to remove dust and dirt.Ordinarily, I would have waited to review the mat. However, I felt it was important to report my experience for anyone thinking about purchasing the coir mat with this or any other painted design. Time will tell.

This mat is awesome & at a great price. It's been outside for a couple months through some snow, rain and general weather & is holding up well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm a brat and wish the outside rubber frame was black instead of a bronze-ish color. But if that's what you're looking for, it'll be a 5 for you :)

Extremely pleased with this purchase. This rug is very heavy duty and heavy. The wind wont budge this. It will not move unless you move it! I like that it was shipped flat and not rolled up. It looks great and does its job of knocking dirt off your shoes before walking in the house. Love the extra large size too. It was hard to find something big enough for our double door entry. I recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Omg so impressive looking. Seriously the best looking and quality door mat ever seen. I was afraid that my old golden retriever would be afraid to walk on it because of the rubber raised up wrought iron thing. Fearful of getting her nails caught. She walked without hesitation. It looks like made for my brick home with wrought iron and archways. Glad I took a chance. Perfect in every way. Enjoy! No regrets

This WELCOME mat will really make an impression. This is the perfect mat for anyone with double front doors. There is nothing like this in any local hardware store (I personally checked). It is substantial in size so be prepared. My entire family loved it. It’s a solid good heavy weight with a good quality. It does not shed easily. I would highly recommend and you want this kind of review for the price. It was worth the investment.

Very pleased with this doormat. Was debating on purchasing it since there were no other reviews, but I took a chance and I’m glad I did. It’s oversized which I needed since I have double front doors. It looks really nice, just as expected based on the pictures. The quality is great! Arrived very quickly. Extremely happy with my purchase.

My wife said our entry-way cred just went up a huge notch. Seriously very nice rug, it's like bullet-proof thick and very well made.A lot of shippers like to roll these things up, but mine came in a flat box so the rug arrived in great shape.
