Lippert Components 859794 Screen Defender RV Entry Door Aluminum Screen Protector, 30-inch, Black

Excellent product.

Pro:1 fits lippert screen door as instructed to measure.2 easy to install & easy to remove for cleaning etc. I didn’t want to screw/unscrew anything and the screw-on solutions seem to show entirely flat surface. Mine is not.3 light weight so won’t make the door dragCon:1 the extrusions fall out when you slam the door. I followed a YouTube video - cut out 2 tabs from the extrusions I was not using to insert into the extrusion and door channel. I didn’t superglue them (yet) - will see how they hold without glue. So far so good.2 one corner was damaged separated when arrived but I managed to get it back together.3 I did have to bang one corner with a rubber mallet to get it in but I’m not very strong.If you have a small dog you probably don’t need the extrusions.A little pricey but keeps my pit bull from coming through the door. I recommend it for lippert door. Other brands may be hit or miss for good fit.

Good quality and slid right in place. Does not cover the top couple of inches of the screen. It comes with panels for this but we didn’t use them.

Installed this screen door protector on our Grand Design Reflection. It was a snap to install, looks like it came standard on the RV, which I think they should. Worth the cost considering the looks and performance of the unit. Dogs can't tear the screen through it. Would recommend!

Screen guards themselves fit ok and are easy to install. The filler plates that are to be installed with the screens to fill the extra space were cut crooked at the ends and at different lengths. Plus they really don’t stay in place. For the money these cost I found it disappointing. Ended up not using them and just left the screen in place without the filler plate.

We travel w a bully, husky and Boston. The screen would get pawed on occasion and we were afraid they’d bust through the normal door. This was easily installed and unlike the camper dealers didn’t leave gaping holes for paws to get through. Very well worth the investment

I like that screen looks like it came on my RV. No holes to drill! I didn't give it a 5 because the extention pieces weren't cut even and leaves a noticeable uneven gap on the side of the screen. Would recommend even though the price for this product is higher than what I expected.Don't know how much protection it will give the screen door. Hasn't been dog tested yet.Follow the directions for measuring. My doorway was a little over 27in. so I ordered the 28 in. screen. Fits perfect. Could have used 3 hands to assemble on door but I managed.Update. My husband closed the RV door and the bottom extention fell out! I watch a video on YouTube where a guy used left over pieces to fix that problem. Get out your superglue.

Screen fit as advertised. The plastic spacers at the bottom that fill the gap between the screen and frame could fit better but they do the job

Use this in my RV for protecting my mesh screen. Easy to install and looks good too!

Excelllent product. Was the 30” size. Yes measure the inside width 28.5” and round to largest even number. All perfect.

This installed super easy. Makes the camper feel so much safer with the dog and toddler. Time will tell on durability. But overall very happy with the product.

I purchased the correct size according to the manufacturers instructions but when I tried to install it, my door was too narrow by 1/2". It's not a Lippert door, so maybe that's why the frame was thicker and screen didn't fit. The vendor was very considerate and accepted my return. I can't recommend them more highly, as their communication was excellent and friendly. I would've purchased the smaller size but it too wouldn't fit, being too narrow. If you don't have a Lippert door, make sure to measure the inside of your door frame to insure fitment.
