The GE 3 Outlet Adapter functions just as it should. I needed something for my coffee/smoothie station because I have 3 appliances and only two wall outlets. I finally got tired of the plug/unplug routine and bought this product. It fits the bill perfectly. It's compact, does not take up a lot of wall space, and the guide light is the perfect addition should I ever need to plug or unplug one of the appliances in the dark -- not too practical for me, but I could use it in a different room of the house and it would be a nice-to-have feature. However, I wouldn't expect for it to be a night light. It's there to guide your hand to the outlets. Great product for the price from a reputable brand. If the need arises, I would definitely purchase again.

I bought five of these around 1.5 years ago. I have one plugged in the bathroom that I use for a Dremel and hair clippers. I have one behind my TV that I was using for my TV and a couple of other devices like a mini computer and laptop. And now I am using a third one for a floor lap and food warmer mat. All of them seem to be working well. However, there was a time when I tried to use it with my computer modem/router combo. When I did that, I started to experience severe internet issues. It was a nightmare. It reminded me of when I used to have Mediacom internet and had internet problems and disconnects every day. I called my internet provider and they said to upgrade to a DOCIS 3.0, which was stupid really. With the download speeds and upload speeds that I am paying for, a DOCIS 2.0 suffices. In the end, I figured out that it was this outlet adapter. Once I plugged the modem/router combo directly into the wall again, my internet started working flawlessly again. It is strange, but I guess modems and routers need good power sources. Another theory is that one of the five outlet adapters was flawed, but I did not want to test out each one because I need working internet 24/7, 365 days a year. But my gut tells me that all the outlet adapters are fine, and it is just that modems and routers don't like being plugged into outlet adapters. So anyway, just keep that in mind. I don't regret my purchase and I think that people can benefit from these outlet adapters because you get three outlets and you get a guide light.

Nice Outlet Expansion Adapter Wall Tap. It has a good ground and a dim light showing that it is in fact receiving power. This is also a space saver or a more versatile way to utilize electrical outlets in close proximity to the various power cords.

It is a well made product. The outlets are spaced close together. In my case I'm only using two of them though they all work fine. The guide light seems superfluos, it is very dim.

I purchased two of these. I like the Always-On light for the outlet. And I trust GE to not short circuit. It’s very handy.
