This is truly an unforgettable shampoo experience. Leaves my hair fabulous not to mention the great scent. The price seems high, but it is highly concentrated and lasts a very long time. I can’t live without it !!!!

Super moisturizing shampoo leaves hair feeling silky and soft. Most times when I wash my hair, I can feel how stripped and dry my hair is. I can’t get a comb or a brush through my hair after shampooing unless I coat it in conditioner. The Gold Lust shampoo is so moisturizing that it actually feels conditioned without being heavy at all, and I am able to finger-comb my hair without the cuticle stretching, snagging, and snapping off. My hair is also heavily processed (platinum blonde), so a really good, moisturizing shampoo is essential for maintenance. It is the most expensive shampoo I have ever used, but it is absolutely worth every penny in my opinion. My hair has never felt softer, smoother, or shinier in my life. Expensive investment for sure, but worth every single cent!

I’m fast falling in love with Oribe products. As someone who was a loyal Aveda user for over 10 years, switching brands wasn’t something I took lightly—but Oribe has really impressed me so far.I’m still in the process of figuring out which specific line works best for my thick hair, and to be honest, I wish there was some kind of online quiz or guide to help match your hair type and goals to the right products. It can be a little overwhelming with so many amazing options to choose from.That said, every product I’ve tried so far has been high quality, beautifully scented, and leaves my hair feeling soft, nourished, and salon-level polished. Even though I’m still narrowing down my go-to favorites, I’m enjoying the process and really happy with the results so far.If you’re on the fence, I’d say give it a try—especially if you’re looking for a luxe upgrade to your haircare routine!

It is 5 stars if you can pay the price. See the 2.5 ounce bottle is smaller than your average travel size, but you only need 1 drop and it lathers extremely well, smells good, and I personally saw a improvement in what my hair felt like and looked like, managing my very greasy hair. Yes it is a small bottle, but I can get about a month or two out of the small one, following the standard wash twice a week or so, but in general, if you can pay the price it’s worth it.

Vastly over rated & over priced - leaves hair dry, and even blonde hair not golden at all, and has a very weak fragrance. A far superior product to achieve the golden, fragrant, moisturized & nourished result Oribe Gold Lust CLAIMS - is for example the wonderful 2chic Ultra Moist Shampoo for dry & damaged hair by Giovanni - for 1/10 the price of OGL.

I love this shampoo. It not only smells wonderful but lathers nicely to deliver gently cleansed hair that looks and feels more healthy and beautiful. I only wish that it was not so expensive.

I’m 51 (menopausal) with dry, coarse hair. After trying many, many other products, my stylist recommended Oribé, and I’m glad she did. I have used this shampoo plus the conditioner for about 7 months and have experienced great results. For reference, my hair is just past my shoulders and I wash it twice a week. This bottle usually lasts 6 weeks (I do substitute a clarifying shampoo a couple times a month).
