My wife has a string of Grinch lights for a mini Christmas tree. They seem to eat AA batteries. This worked perfectly to run the lights.

The media could not be loaded.  It does what it says it does and I haven't had a problem they've been on 24/7 for several weeks

I've bought 3 of these now, and in all 3 cases I immediately cut them up because I've been using them to power things that were meant to have 2 AA batteries in series. A couple of Roomba virtual walls, and most recently a remote temperature/humidity sensor for my garage. Snip the connector off, run the wire through a hole in the device casing, and solder the leads to the battery compartment connectors. Obviously you need to make sure the thing you're powering needs 3 volts, but it works nicely.This should be obvious, but you're giving up any hope of warranty or return doing this. IMO the low price makes this not much of a concern.

I'm using this to power my Acurite weather station which requires two parallel sets of 2 AA batteries outputting 3V. Before I installed it, I checked the output under various current draws. I was hoping it would provide a bit closer to 3V under load, but it works okay for my application.The unit I got had the following output voltage drop off:3.06 V @ no load2.90 V @ 50 mA load2.50 V @ 150 mA load2.20 V @ 1000 mA load

When I first plugged this in it didn't work right away and I was pretty unhappy, getting ready to contact customer service...but then I heard a little noise and looked over to see my fountain had turned on and it was working. I was so relieved! lol I simply needed to wait a few minutes to get the power surging through the wires and now it seems to work just fine and I'm happy with my purchase. Thank you

I bought this as a power supply for my wife's electric candles. We were tired of replacing the batteries so often so this looked like a good solution. She has a candle stand with 4 candles and this power supply works perfectly to power all 4 of them. It took a little work to modify / create an electrical connection to the batteries, but this power supply is perfect. All of the candles required two AA batteries, which of course adds up to a 3 volt power supply, so this unit is perfect.

My daughter bought a cute desktop fountain at a discount store and it required an adapter or batteries for power. In an ongoing mission to try to be Earth friendly we opted for this long-term solution to avoid wasting batteries.We snagged one of these and honestly she got it from the package and installed it on the fountain herself. Works perfectly and easy to use. Once again, Amazon to the rescue for the most random item we never knew we'd need.
