Good purchase!
This radio has worked awesome in my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero! Worked so well I'm going to be buying the same or a similar model for my woman's car!!

Installed and worked great but the screen graphics look cheep
I purchased this Soundstream unit brand new in Jan 2017. Installed and worked great but the screen graphics look cheep. I was restoring the vehicle and after a year of no use, I started driving. The touch screen immediately stopped working. The company won't service the product purchased through Amazon. Amazon won't service or return ... to long after purchase and I did not buy the aftermarket 1, 2 or 3 year insurance. This product is absolute garbage. Avoid Soundstream ... go with a name brand (JVC Pioneer, Kentwood, etc) and buy the 3 year protection/replacement plan. It was $110 for this unit and $180 for a JVC ... don't buy the toy that wont work.

I have had my unit for over a year and so far it seems OK besides the intermittent power goes off
What I do like about it it plays almost all video formats. The sound quality it doesn't let's the sound levels for that personal taste.Mine has a intermittent power shutdown. Grounding is good. But looking deeper. But so far it has crammed down every thing I've put into it. Oh and th3 bluetooth option is great for music. But the hearing with voice calls are muffled. Good luck with yours. But I also purchased an 2yr wtty also.

Sound is great. Price is right
Sound is great. Price is right. And we now have Bluetooth. Although, I couldn't figure out how to connect this unit to my '05 Toyota Sienna steering wheel controls; did not look possible. Better than our factory stereo but probably not as cool as some of the more expensive options out there.

Very good unit for the price
One month old now. Very good unit for the price. Easy installation in my 2013 Frontier S crew cab. Sounds great with JBL speakers. Controls are simple and straight forward. Touch screen was off when I first received it but once calibrated in the settings it works very good. It only has three wallpapers to choose from, there is no dimmer for night driving but there is a brightness control in the settings. I just leave it on standard as its not to distracting for me. One last thing. You only get Bass and Treble control, no mid range control, but it's not really needed. All blue tooth functions work as described.
