This tool was very easy to use and extracted a number of pins from a garage door mechanism chain. I wasn't sure if this would work for a large chain, but it did. With this tool I was able to successfully complete this chain shortening project.I would recommend this tool for any similar chain shortening project.

Had to break a chain to replace a derailleur and this did the job perfectly. The chain link connector also worked fine and you are supplied with three sizes. The one with the triangle symbol worked for me, you also get one marked as 9 and one marked as 10.Have ridden for over 40 miles since and no issues so far.
