I love my ember mug! Keeps coffee or whatever you want to stay hot for about 1 hour then it'll gradually cool down. I bought an extra charging pad so I have 1 at home and 1 at work. Perfect gift for any coffee or hot tea lover

It worked well for three months and then one of the prongs dropped and it’s no longer charging my mug. This is the same problem I had with my original coaster so I bought this one as a replacement. At least my original one lasted 2 years. Which for the price I still thought was a short time. But three months? That is unacceptable. I hope ember fixes this problem since it seems to be a design flaw.

The charger is fine, and definitely not wireless. It has two spring loaded tiny contacts that charge the mug. My third one, because the first two stopped charging when one of the pins retreated, was stuck, and no efforts to yank it out were successful. Just bad design, and at $30, costly. Last me about 16 months. Hopefully, this lasts longer. The mug is just excellent.

Had my ember mug and charging base for 2 years. One of the “prongs” on the charging base doesn’t always connect to the mug when charging so I went ahead and ordered a new base. The mug works just as the day I bought it. For coffee drinkers this ember mug is a must have!!!!!

Take good care of it and it will take care of you! Love this mug. We’re going to our 4 year together with this ember and still love it! Just now had to replace the coaster. The newer one has been updated for the better. Nice job.

Works great! Excellent alternative to buying a whole new mug when my original charger died. Would also be great as an additional charger so you could have one at work and one at home. Love the copper color!

I wish I hadn't had to buy this but the original one no longer worked after 18 months. Hope this one lasts longer.

exactly as the original that i purchsed years ago

I was hoping to replace my charging plate - was a little pricy to begin with but oh well. When I got the package, I noticed that there were tape on the bottom of the box and no wrapping around - which was a little odd. But when I opened the box, the charging plate was CLEARLY used. Water stained on it and a few scratches. I'm paying for something new, in full price, and got a used item? What's up with that?

IMPORTANT: this is the base-station only, does not include the mug. Even though it shows the mug in the pictures and is more expensive than other, similar products. Also, it is NOT COMPATIBLE with any other mugs except it’s own. The box had a very strong smell when it arrived.
