They're drill bits, what can be said. They are mid-grade quality, for a decent price.

Not recommended for metal, but great for wood.

If you're like me, you have several drill bit sets in your workshop with the smallest bits missing. This set supplies quite a few small bits to fill in the gap. Drill bits are a commodity item, with not much to distinguish the lot. I mean, these bits work well enough. The smaller ones break, just like any other bit. So, you are getting what is advertised... a large assortment of mostly smaller bits, which is quite useful.The quality on these are generally pretty good, although I did find a few in here that were out of alignment. That is, they were slightly bent and thus not usable. The case is really a cheap case, and does not keep the smaller bits seperated. Also, the case has no clear markings as to which size bits are in each compartment.But, overall, you're getting what you're paying for here.

These seem to be of good quality, however the description is not correct. The 100 piece set ranges in size from 1/16 to 3/8. The description states sizes from 3/64 to 1/2. This is only in the larger 230 piece set and the description does not change when you switch from one set to the other.

They are fine.

Necesitaba perforar un hueco de 1/4 en perno de hierro automotriz de 2" a todo lo largo. Por algunos comentarios no tenia mucha esperanza en lograrlo. Tomé mi taladro de banco y una de las mechas de 1/4 y me dispuse a probar. Quede gratamente sorprendido. Lo perforó sin ningún problema (como mantequilla). Igual pensé que acabaría con la mecha y mi sorpresa es que resistió sin ningún daño. Eso si, no permití en ningún momento que la mecha se recalentara. Siempre bien lubricada y pausas para enfriamiento.

The only thing I would say is that once you open the case you have to make sure when you open it a next time, you open gently!!! And make sure you pick it up holding both sides as it no longer stays shut like its supposed too. Bits are great quality, case needs more work to make it sturdy.
