Great mat
Great mat quality, AIREX is the best. I have used them in the clinic and daily use with my personal exercises. I did notice the quality isn’t as good as my older mats…likely a sign if the times secondary to outsourcing. But still a product ahead of others on the market.

Most comfortable, secure and flexible mat, I’ve ever used. But if you want to use for yoga, get the long one
GETTING THE SHORT LENGTH MAT MAKES THIS A LIMITED USE PRODUCT:When I opted to get this fitness mat, I did not pay attention to the length of the mat. That is my mistake. However the implications of this mistake make this mat, much less useful for me than it could be.**** First of all the dimensions of the mat, I received were: 55" x 23.6" x 0.4". weight: 2.6lbs**** The dimensions of a typical yoga mat are: 71” x 24”**** My height is 5’9”. That’s 69”.You can see where I’m going here.As I do yoga this mat is too short. So I save it for physical therapy.I don’t know about you, but I don’t want single use items cluttering up my house. On a more positive note, if that is the length you will only ever need, it takes up less space when down and is smaller when rolled up, than a traditional yoga mat.USE OF THE MATT:Honestly this is one the most comfortable, secure and easy to roll up mats I’ve ever had. That’s saying a lot. The 0.4” thickness makes it uber comfortable. The grip on the floor and your hands makes it very secure and the ribs perpendicular to its length make it very easy to roll up. I just wish I had gotten the long one. Gave it 5 stars for usage. the wrong length is my problem.

It's okay
I got it for much less than the original price of 55. It works fine for that price but I would not purchase this at the original pricing. It slips and slides. The foam is nice and thick though. It's also not very long for that price

Wish they weren't discolored.
There was discoloration on the bottom of the mats. i am not sure if it was heat related. I have some already and these looked like aftermarket the bottom is a light gray. I tried to wash them but it still looks faded

Used this for anything BUT yoga and its pretty helpful anytime you need a mat
My daughter does yoga in class so I got this for her. After receiving it she ended up not taking the class anymore. So we had the mat and nothing to use it with. We started using it around the house to sit on or when I was working on the plumbing I needed something to kneel on and this was fantastic. We even used it on our roof when installing our solar panels. The mat is super comfortable. When folded over it provides a couple of inches of padding. It stores easily and travels well. Even got it wet once and it dried really fast. Overall a super mat for all uses!

Perfectly fine mat but too expensive - better options available
This is a good fitness mat with a few solid "positives," but the "negatives" - for me - outweigh the good things. It's a nice, thick mat, which makes it good for fitness floor work (especially for the core) - except that it's actually a bit TOO thick for some things, including weight exercises you do lying on your back. I also found myself struggling to keep my balance when doing dumbbell work in a lunge position when on one knee... the mat was so thick that I rocked a bit.For some, the short length (55") is great, since it's smaller when it rolls, and lighter weight; for me, although I never "went off the mat," I often felt like I was going to when doing my routine, which just made me feel "off." (I'm 5'10" so not crazy tall.)I've read other reviewers say that it's a good mat for yoga, which might be true for low-impact "stretching" style yoga, but I would not use it for more active "power" type yoga... once you get warmed up, any perspiration is going to make this mat slippery - not "sticky" like an actual yoga mat. (Also it's just too short for yoga.)Finally, the price. At $55 it's just too expensive compared to other options, including one from Amazon that's usually less than $20 - and other GREAT mats in the $30-40 range. (And at this price, it doesn't even come with a carrying strap - or even an elastic band to keep it rolled when storing...)This is a nice mat, but there are just as good options available for much less.
