Black Moon Rising by Tommy Lee Jones

So hard to give this a rating because, well it depends what you're looking for in such a movie. If, like me, you enjoy watching old movies while picturing what the production team's conversations must have been like and wondering what the movie would have come out like had they really pulled it off, then this is the movie for you. I watched it because it was in some top-10 internet list of 80s Super Car Movies or something, but it's not really a super car movie, it's just a huge dollop of 80s cheeseyness and head scratching. I found it enjoyable, anyway...

Nice little forgotten pseudo sci-fi 'caper' style movie starring Linda Hamilton (between the Terminators), Tommy Lee Jones and Robert Vaughn. It involves Tommy as thief who enlists the help of Linda to re-steal an experimental car in which he's stashed something he needs from her boss (Vaughn) who runs a high class chop shop in the basement of a well guarded office building. Very 80's feeling, and very much a B-Movie. But the movie knows what it is and doesn't drag, staying entertaining the whole time.

I saw this part film on TikTok and it was very good to see so I buy the film.

A good action film but a bit dated now

Yes Tommy Lee Jones is in it and what's her face from Terminator but it was not enough. I gave up and have no interest in giving it a second chance.

It is a nice film. I saw it many years ago when it first came out. It was most enjoyable to see it again

It was OK nothing to write home about

This was bought as a replacement for my old DVD .
