Quality and opens easily
Purchased for work. During material preparation I have to frequently clean the cotton build up out of my blade, it opens easily and quickly. The blades are quality. I love it.

love this
This is a great safety knife I had a job with these & they work extremely well on plastic, the metal on the head is great for opening boxes if you need a safety knife to cut through plastic I recommend this one.

Literally unusable
I was excited to find a safety box cutter design with a replaceable blade. And... that's where the excitement ends. The box cutter has a good design but I wish the the hook was a little thinner or taper off to be able to cut box tape on a package. The metal knuckle on the opposite side does a decent job at cutting paper tape but using the blade itself would feel a lot better and easier. The main problem with the box cutter is that the blade isn't sharp enough. It feels like I am trying to cut boxes and PE/poly strapping with a blunt blade. The blade doesn't cut through the box cleanly and creates messy tears along the cut line. I have to use extra force to even get it to "cut." The photo shown is a regular box cutter cut line at the top and the OLFA on the bottom. The difference is astounding. As for cutting PE strapping, I don't even feel safe using this even though I can't even cut myself with the blade. Again I need to use a lot of force to get it to cut plastic straps. To the point where I move a bit backwards once the strap snaps. While using any other blade it would be effortless with way less force.I thought maybe the blade wasn't sharp out of the factory. So I ordered replacement blades (SKB-10: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007TJCQG6). Sadly, the box cutter still can't cut cleanly even with a brand new blade. I'm not sure what is wrong with the blade but at the end of the day, it doesn't work.It would be great if I could fit in a regular trapezoid shaped blade that I use for my other box cutters. That way I know that the blade is sharp. I would be better off using a disposable safety boxcutter or sticking with a regular one.

Barely cuts at all
It can barely cut the tape on cardboard boxes, and it certainly can't cut the cardboard. The pointy plastic part that guides the blade does not fit well under box tape. It's just a bad design.
