My 10 yr old has SPD. One input that he seeks almost constantly is bouncing. He has used a hopper of some sort daily since he was 1. He has been known to use one for hrs a day at times. Because of the heavy use, they wear out. After the last one began to leak air, I decided to do some research to see if there was a product that would still meet his needs while being less expensive than previous hoppers. My son was so sad when his first bouncy ball split at the seem. Guess we pumped it too much and my son is eating too many potatoes. Since he enjoys this so much, we decided to buy him another.We first ordered the 36" Knobby Bouncy Ball, but that was not only too big, even my wife who is small and petite could not get it to bounce; it just squished in on place creating the illusion of bouncing without going any where.Our next one was Hop-66 26" Bouncy Ball but when we got it, it was too small because the seller included the handle as part of the diameter of the ball. The real diameter was 18" wide by 20" high. It was a good bouncy ball, but way way too small. I really took issues with how that seller measured diameter, it violated my intellectual honesty and cost Amazon a return transaction cost.This Green Bouncy Ball is a true 29" and is ideal for 8-years and up. It is better than average made, but I don't see how an adults weight could be applied to this ball without splitting it at the seems. But for a bigger kid, this is the best bouncy ball to get.

Bought this for grandson. I was surprised at how much they had changed over the years. The one I had as a child back in the late sixties, early seventies, was of much thicker rubber material, with a very sturdy air plug. I put my bouncing ball through heck, jumping on the gravel, down hallways, on the grass and dirt. Everyone had so much fun jumping on it. I even kept it for my own children to play with. They also had a huge amount of fun and it truly lasted through two active boys. Sadly, I think the rubber finally rotted and the bouncing ball was finally no more when my children became teenagers. Almost 20 years, between me and my children playing and having fun. But that was when items were being made to last and not to be thrown away after a short time of use. The quality of this bouncing ball is no where near to the one of old, and I would be hesitant to let my grandson use it outside very often, because we do have gravel on our driveway and I am afraid it wouldn't last long. Overall though, he does enjoy it. Not as much as I would have thought. My main concern is the easy removal of the air plug. He was able to get it out with no problem at all. I would have preferred an air hole that was better made.

I bought this hopper ball for my 11-year-old son. He loves it. He hops all over the house on it and gets a workout on it. It's a great size. It was easy to inflate. The image on it is super cute. The hopper ball overall is durable. I actually want the adult version of this hopper ball for myself! LOL!
