For the money I'd take this over paracord any day of the week. Not only is it just as strong and just as useful, but you also get more of it for the $$. It's also easier to carry and pretty much just easier to work with in general. This is really great stuff for making snares, building shelters, or whatever else you might need good cordage for. It holds a knot like no other but at the same time it's pretty easy to untie so you don't have to always cut it. Just buy this instead of paracord bushcrafters...you definitely won't be sorry.

This stuff is great; 3-ply, super strong, and the plastic tube it's wrapped around can be plugged by small lids and used as a container. The lids I used are from those small containers that dremel cut-off wheels come in, they fit perfectly into the plastic tube the twine is wrapped around. Great for storing spare fishing or survival supplies in.

I bought this as an alternative to 550 paracord and I think it's better. knots better and feels stronger. The only warning I can issue is that it is tarred--which means it smells strongly of creosote. If that bothers you, then get some duck decoy cord or something.

This is great stuff. Thanks to the YouTube person that suggested bank line as an alternative to paracord. For many, perhaps most uses, this stuff is better and cheaper.

I tried this out of curiosity and was very pleasantly surprised. This is tough stuff and can take abuse! Much tougher than paracord for most applications. Definitely recommend!

Best decoy string you can buy! Only other alternative to monofilament line like rig em right uses.
