Eisco Plastic Graduated Cylinder, Measuring Cylinder, Autoclavable, 500ml

It's strong, it's clear, it's a graduated cylinder. I'm perfectly happy with it. It's about a 2 inch diameter, maybe 2.5.

Lab grade, new packaging, relatively affordable for a science teacher. Worked well for elephant toothpaste demo.

I added labels to the major increments of mine so I could avoid making mistakes. It's just blank HDPE with raised lettering for the increments - almost unreadable without contortions. Nicely sturdy, easy to use - with the labeling. Sharpie would work too, but... I added this to my bartending setup so I could accurately mix large-ish Igloo-size cocktails for parties. Wayyy better than any measuring cup, like, throw those things out.

Time of virus. Need to turn 95% alcohol into 60. This is cheapest and with good reviews. Embossed marks are hard to read for these old eyes but acceptable. Marks are raised plastic but same color. I have nothing accurate to compare so won't give more stars for accuracy.

The measurements are a little off for water. Aka needed to add an additional mark above 500 ml to for the water inside weigh 500 g. Not a big deal though since I have a scale. I’m using it to measure the Specific Gravity in ceramic glazes. I’m fining this cylinder easier to use than a hydrometer.

Measuring the ingredients for compost tea. Accuracy of +/- 10% is fine so not of a real concern. My ingredients are dark which helps visibility. Cylinder is strong enough to hold up in my shop.

Just what I needed

ottimo cilindro, 500ml, robusto e lascia pochi residui all'intero.

Excellent buying experience. Had a problem with the RGB controller, Cyberpower shipped a new one to me in no time. Highly recommended.
