This is the 3rd canvas band with a "quick release" protrusion that one can catch with a finger nail to retract the securing pin. The previous two, which I returned) were from another seller but are so identical I'm sure they all come from the same Chinese mfg. I've given this one only 3 stars because, like the other two, the securing pins are NOT long enough. This one I removed the pins & replaced w/longer pins. "Quick Release" good idea, poorly implemented.I like the thickness of the band v. so many others that are just to thin. Its thickness will be cause for a break-in before it softens.Also, this is NOT a "NATO" band which is a specific, one piece design. search "NATO band."

Worn for a couple of months so far. Thick enough that it does not flop around on my wrist like the other after market brands I have tried. Dries quickly when it gets soaked.Required a little finesse to remove the spring bars, included for mounting the strap to the watch lugs. The spring bar is retained on the strap by a spring loaded retainer projecting thru a hole in the back of the strap. Used the included screwdriver to press the retainer down then slid the bar out of the strap and discarded it. The Suunto watch uses bar that screws on and is not interchangeable with standard spring bars. The Suunto bar fits this strap perfectly.Some slight fraying at the loose end of the strap, to be expected with a nylon canvas strap, easily cured by holding the end of the strap over a match flame briefly and carefully.No other fraying visible after two months of daily wear including landscaping, camping, chopping a couple of cords of wood. I wear this thing 24/7.Have just ordered a spare to keep on hand for when this one wears out in a year or two. Equal in quality to the Suunto band, at much more reasonable price.

I bought several canvas bands in different colors and like to swap them depending on what I'm wearing. This one is one of my faves, but at 3 months the canvas material immediately around the quick release buttons has frayed so much that it's nearly impossible to reach them (even though I have plenty of thumbnail to do so (as the pic shows!). The material should not fray around the quick release buttons like this. I will soon have to either leave this band on the watch all the time or discard it due to how hard it is to change it. Have the idea to try to trim the fraying away but can't decide quite how to do that. This is definitely a clear cut case of premature product failure.

I had bought a Timex Expedition, but the original strap on it was overtly stiff, making it more of a bangle spinning on my wrist than a snug watchband. I at one time had a nylon canvas strap on a Fossil watch that fit perfectly, but no longer have it.The installation of this strap with the tool that came with it was challenging. And, that is even with a magnifying task lamp that I use to work with small electronic components! The release armatures on the pins intended to make it quick and easy were not aligned well in the groove of the strap, causing them to be caught up in the mesh of the strap. I ended up using other tools that I have to work it out, taking over half an hour to finally get it installed.When I first put it on, the sizing was a little off with either being too loose or too tight between two eyelets on the strap. Also, the nylon mesh on this was somewhat stiff, making it still more like a bangle. But, I thought it would break in over the next few months to allow for a more snug fit. So far, a couple months in and it still does not seem to want to relax. I may just have to soak it in boiling hot water at a curve, then dunk it in ice water, as well as punch a new eyelet to get it to fit more comfortably. We'll see what happens.

My Seiko Tuna came with a very uncomfortable silicone strap that really didn't do this gorgeous watch any justice so after an exhaustive search i found this strap what drew me too this strap was the fact that this is a combo of leather and canvas because on its own leather irritates my skin and I have to say that I was a little worried that the letter that was in the strap would irritate my skin but I'm happy to say that it does not and also it's very easy to install now I've had this for more than six months wearing it occasionally and I am very happy with how the material has worn I would have to say that if I wore this everyday it would still look just as good. BTW the little furry photo bomber is my jack Russell Henry.

I really like this watch band. It looks awesome and is really well made. Only problem with it is that when I put it on, I can get it to fit my wrist on the 2nd hole (I have pretty big wrists). If the temp goes down my wrist will shrink a bit and the whole band will spin around my wrist. When my wrist is smaller in cooler temps I still can't get the band to the 3rd hole so I can't get it tight enough no matter what I do. So in short, it fits great in normal temps, but too big in colder temps. Just doesn't fit me right. This was using an Invicta 1102 watch.

I love the look and feel of this Nato band. Been wearing it for a month now and i got to say its holding up very well. Little stiff at first but with all watch bands there is a break in period. The only reason its not a 5 star is the very first time putting it on my watch of the pins included with hit broke after installing it and trying to tighten it on my wrist. But the good news is the included a backup pin so no big deal. I would buy another.

This is a very comfortable and nice looking watch band. In addition, it seems to be durable as well.
