Do I use lip liner before or after the lip prep & prime?

I use the prep first, to fill the wrinkles at the edge of my lips. Then I do my mascara while the prep sets. And finish with lip liner, lipstick, and gloss.

Does this primer help fill in lines/creases on the lips? Been trying to find something to improve the way my lips look with liquid lipsticks.

Hello, Yes Prep and Prime Lip is a line filler to keep the lipstick and the liner from bleeding, but need to let it dry for at least one minute. How to use: Apply a thin coating over your entire lip area, including over your lip edges. Follow with lip color. If desired, line your lips.

Does this work with long-lasting lip color, such as Senegence LIpsence?

I use it for long lasting lipstick as well as regular lipstick. I've used it for years and believe it's a really good product.

mac prime and prep roll on eye make up is there one?

Yes, but it is referred to as Mac prep and prime extend eye base and it is not roll on it is a cream placed on the eyelid prior to eye makeup such as eye shadow.

An absolute must buy! Works like a charm!!

My new holy grail lip primer!! I have tried every lip primer on the market and returned all of them! I saw this primer on a YouTube video and decided to give it a try. My issue is lipliner bleeding into the “smokers lines” above my top lip. Nothing I’ve tried before worked. Not even a little bit! I used this primer this morning. I applied it on my lips and above my top lip line before liner and lipstick. I work as a Hairstylist and don’t have time to reapply my lip combo during the day. Not only did this product prolong the wear of my lip combo, but it kept my lips hydrated. For the first time ever, no bleeding into the lines above my lip! I’m so excited!! Thank you MAC for making such a superior product!!! I’m beyond grateful!!!

Creamy, fragrant and Works Well!

Love the MAC lip primer...it goes on easily, smoothly and has a delicate, non-cloying fragrance. It keeps my lipstick from bleeding throughout the day! Wonderful product and will order again!

Seemed to work fine

I'm not well-versed in makeup at all, I probably know less than the average makeup-wearer my age. To me, this product worked fine. I had no allergic reaction or any negative experiences with it. It was like putting on chapstick without putting on chapstick so that my lips had a better base for lipstick and I believe that's exactly what it's for. I haven't tried other similar products so I have no comparisons. Feel free to kindly educate me if I'm wrong lol, always willing to learn more about makeup.

Good product idea

Primer is a bit heavy so have to press very lightly to use. Plumper is great. Overall good product when I learned the necessary technique. Very innovative idea--primer with plumper.
