I use these to put under the bases for miniature war game and RPG figures and they work great - they're soft, so the base of the figure doesn't scratch the screen of the monitor we project our maps on; they're thin, so the figure isn't raised very high off the surface; they're 1", exactly the size of the bases of most of our minis.Or one problem is the discs like to cling to each other, so sometimes if two minis touch bases, when you move one the other tends to try to come with it.But that's nitpicking. These are otherwise perfect for or needs.
