I bought a Macbook Pro Laptop cover from amazon before and it got old. The two stands in the bottom broke off and I decide to get a new cover. It really helps to get a cover because when I took the old one off, there were so many scratches and stains on it. I honestly thought this cover looks like a tank, it's strong and thick, but not bulky. It snapped on right away and I didn't have too much trouble putting it on.The little plastic plugs for the sides of my MacBook fits just right. I plug everything up to prevent dust going in. I took out a little dust bunny in my SD card slot. EW. Now I can throw this in my bookbag and not worry about dust. Then the keyboard cover.......I already have one on top of my Mac so I didn't bother with it. I was thinking it's probably some cheap side item they throw in cause the covers on amazon.com are around $10 to $15.I was so wrong.The moment I put it on and started to type. I put the other keyboard cover in the closet. It's thin and quite to type. Easier to move from one key to another.Why didn't I find out about this when I first bought my Mac? Where were you guys?!!! You could have save my Mac from little dust bunnies and needless spending.

Cover:Ideal for teens and adults.Sturdy enough to keep from minor dents and dings, definitely protects against scratches and scuffs.I bought myself one and this one was for my wife. Cover is not bulky and does not make laptop awkward or cumbersome. Cover does not come off easily, so you don’t have to worry about reattaching it every time you take it out of a sleeve or bag. Color is nice, I would say pretty accurate. Worth the buy.Keyboard Cover:Nice and sleek, fits very well. Wife is not using as of now as I got her a custom one that has short-cut keys printed. Would have been perfect if this had those. Color does match, and has a good feel to it.Port Covers:Port covers it came with are nice, print is upside-down on most. Some covers loose others a bit more snug.

Don't listen to the fake reviewer saying the plastic feet aren't as chintzy as they appear in the photos. They are EXACTLY that bad, and the rest of the product is worse. I am extremely annoyed with myself for taking this out and using it, as I really needed it to protect my computer, instead of sending it straight back as I should have. It probably protects my computer about as well as taping a Tupperware lid to it. Almost as annoyed as I am at myself with the fact that for a few dollars more, I could have had the REAL protective bumper product that this hot mess ripped off. DO NOT PURCHASE.

This review is initial impressions only. Just put it on the computer.First, the directions are awful. Ironic, since they provided a nicer (and seemingly more thorough) instruction card than most products. Just line up the computer and case before snapping it on (making sure the tabs are offset from one another on front and back) - it will visually make sense.Overall the design seems great and it looks like it should last if you're not hard on the locking tabs. With several tabs around the perimeter, it's seems like even a broken tab or two should still leave you with adequate protection. Removal and reinstallation will likely be tough on these tabs.I like that you can see through the top - just an esthetic thing, but after paying top dollar for Apple design, nice to be able to see it :)The port protectors are a nice touch. I work with metal and these should help keep shavings and dust/debris out of the important bits. That said, I'm giving the included keyboard cover a try - we'll see how it stacks up. I also ordered a non-silicone version from another company, and I'll choose which fits best.I was worried the rear feet (props) would be too flimsy - but I think they may last a while. Will depend on how rough you are with the computer, but they are more substantial than I thought from the online photos.Nice overall fit and finish.

Great case to save the laptop. I dropped my new Apple laptop, put a dent in the top of the case, and was afraid to open it. As I opened I found no damage (amazing & lucky). I decided to get a protective case and this one even has a silicone bumper around the perimeter. It has taken several falls ( rambunctious puppy) without a single problem.The only problem is the little red plugs that come with it to seal all the ports do not stay in place. They send a second set to replace lost ones, but I have lost most of them. Just do not depend on the plugs to keep out dirt and dust.

This is a GREAT case. My only slight complaint is that this it’s surprisingly heavy—despite being just under 13 ounces, it makes the computer feel very heavy. However, I love the look and feel of it and I’m sure it will protect the computer from my clumsy hands. Another big advantage is that the feet on the case are integrated into the plastic, rather than being a stick-on rubber thing like other cases I’ve had (that always fall off and end up stuck to the inside of my bag). I’m not sure how often I’ll use the little feet to prop up the back, but they might be nice when using the computer for presentations or watching movies.The included installation instructions are quite lacking in clarity, so be very careful when you install the top, as it’s easy to install it 180 degrees from how it’s supposed to go on. To remove it, press directly backwards on the tab holding it to the screen, right next to the edge, and the tab will pop off the screen.The tiny port plugs are a nice addition, tho I’m sure most of them will end up in the bottom of my bag. The keyboard cover might be nice for someone in an environment where it’s needed, but for me it was a hindrance to good typing so I removed it after trying.Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and will report back if any of that changes.

Nicest hardshell Macbook case I have gotten here. I have tried the other hardshell cases, but they would always crack on me. This one has rubberized edges, in case you drop your MacBook. It also has an opaque keyboard membrane, but I have a clear one that I bought on Amazon so I can use the backlit keyboard at night. The one provided, will still work, the key edges will glow, but not the key letters. Also has rubber plugs to cover unused ports.

This case is not heavy duty far from it, is more a cover. Plastics tabs to retain top and bottom cover do not hold very well and easily pull off when opening MacBook.

I just received it today. Early delivery. The product is good, 7 out of 10. Although I don’t like the rubber keyboard cover, it is overall a good looking casing.

Very pleased with the Mac case.
