C9 ChampionWomen's 3.5" Woven Shorts

I bought three of these when they were on sale for $10 a piece. For as much as I wear athletic shorts for that price it was a complete steal! Functional drawstring waist. Small pocket. Length as advertised. Built in undergarments—which I’m a fan of. Lightweight and comfortable. Black with white stripe are very neutral and go with everything.

I lost weight so my first pair became too big and I was excited to find them on Amazon to get a new pair. Very flattering and nice length.

They fit perfectly.

I have a pair of shorts from C9 already that's a lot like this... or so it seems. The fitting is incredibly uncomfortable when the ones I already have fit perfectly but for some reason they no longer carry them. When I saw these I thought they looked just like them, I read the descriptions, information before I purchased and thinking it would be very similar to the ones I love at home. When I received them, I was excited, until I put them on. Absolutely hated the way they fit. It rides up the back and I don't even have a butt and it feels like there's not enough room back there. The fabric itself doesn't feel great, it feels more like glorified tissue paper. (and no I'm not being a prissy girl, I'm a mechanic and I can deal with some discomfort) It squeezes at the waist instead of a nice rest. If you're a thicker girl like myself, don't even bother unless you want to be reminded of your muffin top even more. The ones I already have sits so nicely and never squeezes me. It's completely the opposite of the ones I already have. I wish Champion wouldn't put out products like this and keep the nice quality made ones around longer.

Made too small

I bought the maroon shorts a few weeks ago and at first, it was a little odd with the built-in briefs but after a few workouts the felt perfectly comfortable. In fact maybe the most comfortable shorts I’ve ever owned. So bolstered by my happy new find, I purchased a second pair in a different color. I tried them on today and they’re at least an inch smaller around the waist and hips than the red pair. So disappointing. Now I’m hesitant to buy any more because I have no idea if the ones I get will be too big or too small. Tip for sellers: please try and find a way to make your sizing consistent. This kind of thing is very discouraging to make future online purchases.

As others have said - they do fit a bit big, I'm usually size M in pants, but bought S and they fit just right, for reference I'm 120 lb and 5'4". So far very pleased. 4 stars only because one has some black marks on the back and front that did not wash out. Does not matter to me as they will be used at home, so I will not be exchanging them, still should be noted. Otherwise - the material is very light and quick drying, they appear to be well made. They sit slightly below waist, at least on me.

They are very comfortable and well made. I like the built in liner. But they definitely do not fit smaller than expected. I am between a small and medium, and would have been more comfortable in a medium.

These shorts are affordable and comfortable. I would highly recommend them
