needed to shower with cast after surgery wet cast not too good

I use these to give an elderly person who is inconvenient a bath. I don't have to worry about her having an accident in the bathtub while my hands are in there washing her. The normal medical type gloves are too short and dirty water gets trapped in them. These are perfect and they stay up on the upper arm. I know they use these for berthing help to animals... but for my use they are AWESOMENESS!

After breast cancer I sadly ended up with lymphedema. I'VE had every type of wrap there is on my arm. Some wraps couldn't be removed for several days. Taking a sponge bath in hot weather wasn't going to work for me, I need my shower. My UC Davis physical therapist told me about these sleeves/covers. They do not always fit perfectly but it keeps my wrappings dry with the help of a rubberband at the top. I'VE discovered they are also good for many other uses.

These work great for keeping your clothes & hands free from blood & guts when field dressing a deer. Large enough that they easily slip over your hunting clothes.

Broke wrist and saddled up with a cast for over a month. This product easy solved my issue with showering! Plastic glove covered up to the my shoulder and no worries...dry cast! Tip: Took an extra step to ensure glove didn't slip down by using a woman's fabric ponytail hairband which I purchased at local drug store-easily slipped up my arm and helped secure.

I got these to use because I had wrist surgery. I wore them in the shower to prevent incisions and splint from getting wet. I would put the glove on and use a strip of duct tape to keep it waterproof.

Broken arm in the middle of summer - I needed a way to keep my cast dry while on vacation and riding on a friend’s boat. This worked perfectly!

Since I was using these for something other than their intended purpose I only took off one star. I was using them for aquarium maintenance and soon discovered that they are not water proof. I am willing to bet they would be protection enough from the goo that one would encounter using for OB purposes.
