I like the box for what it is, a reasonably tough storage container. I have read other reviews complaining about the water resistance not being sufficient. I haven't tested that to see for myself, and I recognize it's an important attribute for this kind of box.I used mine to build a portable power station using a 12ah LiFePO4 battery and some automotive 12v terminals, connectors and accessories. I use it for portable amateur radio power.I do think any issues with the box not forming a good seal could be fixed by putting a length of thin wire under the seal in the lid to make it compress more when the lid is closed

It’s very small if you plan to have your flares and legal emergency items inside. Maybe for some small fishing gear, but that’s it…

Very nice box. Ventilation to prevent rust. One request is it could be 1” deeper to allow for jerk baits but all in all great little box with a lot of holding space for spinners, jig spoons, crank baits, buzz baits, etc

I wanted to use it to store my flares in but they had to sit in a diagonal and took up too much room. Still use it for other things but had to get a bigger box.

I have c converted to a tackle box that i wanted water tight. Time will tell if that's the case.

I have used Plano boxes for years, not for fishing tackle (I don't fish, but if I did, I'd buy them for that!), but for storing board game pieces, mostly, plus sorting and storing small household items like screws, picture hangers, and other small odds-and-ends that would otherwise get lost. As I've added to my games and various household bits, I've expanded to a couple of dozen Plano boxes. These are the largest ones I use, and they hold a lot.Setting the box up is a bit of a job: each vertical divider needs to be cut neatly off the strip of dividers, removing the sprues so they don't get caught or prevent the divider from snapping into place properly. I've read complaints of people saying they are too loose or not sliding in effectively, but I've never had that problem. These big boxes are deep (about three inches) and reaching in for small parts can be difficult sometimes, but for larger items they are just fine. After a decade of using these boxes they still work just fine, and I have not had any issues at all.This particular set of Plano boxes has vents in the top (small round holes), which is something none of my other Planos have, but they are not big enough for anything to get out of, so no worries there! If i was storing fishing tackle, then the vents would help things dry out. For effective storage of fishing gear, household stuff, or gaming pieces, these are ideal!

Bought this for my husband and he liked it. I mean now his had to carry this separate from his tackle box butttt none of his spoons get tangled

Put security items for the car in the trunk.I will buy another one for the ATV, good contruction, visible colors.
