This board could easily have been 5 star however I could have easily given it 3!Bottom line is the BIOS needs updating. I had an issue with the most recent BIOS (wouldn't update) and tried F4 update which worked & also fixed my issue. So if you get a failure on the most recent BIOS try the next version. Also seen many people saying they've had blank screens etc after installing the BIOS. Mine was blank for nearly 10 mins before it completed. Don't turn the PC off! Let it run it's course.My comment re 3 stars is more aimed at Gigabyte's tech help. I asked them several questions (including this one) and they weren't exactly great. I totally understand why others might have given up on this board as the support just wasn't there/clear. Hopefully this will help some of you who might encounter this issue.Finish by saying other than these issues, the board is performing well.

For its cost a nice solid mother board , fitted a pentium gold @ 4ghz and it ran as well as a dual core 4 threads CPU can , this was a stop cap as waiting for the 10th gen Intel Core i9 10900K which the board just accepted fine , I have 128gb ram and a 2060 super graphics card installed , be quiet dark rock pro 4 CPU cooler and a be quiet straight power 11 800 watt psu , the machine has been stable from day one , board has had 4 bios updates in that time with one MCU update

Didn’t have this motherboard for long but there are a few things you need to know if you do decide to make the purchase.When you install a graphics card you may experience an issue where your graphics card is not recognised, a quick bios update should do the trick you can either do this from the bios or from gigabytes own bios update app you can download from their website (specifically search for your own motherboard make, please don’t brick your motherboard on day one).There is another issue I’ve seen in the reviews of people complaining about coil whine. You need to head into the bios and under advanced cpu settings there’s something called ‘C-States’ you need to turn this off and you should be good.Overall great motherboard, just need to tweak it a little.

Always used Asus before, but two months in on the gigabyte z490 master for the audio quality and price its a 5 star from me. Sound is just amazing for clarity. Running 19700k 16gb rtx 2080 super.As others, bios update is/was broken, if your having speed issues on the network (im on bt infinity 2) then go to device manager, expand network adaptors, click the controller i225-V, select properties, select speed and duplex, change the default from auto to 100mbps full dupex will resolve.

This shouldnt go without saying: MAKE SURE EVERY PART YOU BUY IS COMPATIBLE WITH THIS MOBO! Dont by that graphics card because it looks nice, do your research! This mobo was easy to install and hasn't failed me since. I rely on my pc for work and this mobo hasn't failed me! Totally recommend it! It works well with my RTX 3060 ti so yey!

Works fine so far. Only issue was the drivers, since its quite new as of writing this the LAN driver is not on the Gigabyte page (or atleast I didn't find it) instead I used the driver for the Z490 motherboard and it worked. A bit pricey.

This board has Pci Ex4 compatibility because of that you can use it without any issue with the newcoming Intel 11th gen processors. Using with a 1.24v 10700k @5ghz . Very good price, cheaper than other countries, cheaper than Z490 PRO Ax (but way better than Pro ax). I got this 199 pound. Lots of Usb Ports, Wifi 6, 2.5G ethernet port, Pci Ex 4.. Highly recommended.

M.2 doesn't work and the screw literally broke and m.2 is stuck on the Broad now. Other than that the mobo works fine.
