After reading that our black plastic utensils could be toxic we got these. They work great! They are sturdy and handle well for mixing and serving foods. We have followed the care instructions that came with them and they still look like new.

These utensils are beautiful. They feel good and look very nice. They were sent individuality wrapped. They also came with instructions on how to keep them looking nice. They work just as good as the metal and plastic utensils. Would buy other products from this company.

These are overall quality cooking utensils, and I liked the selection of tools that were included. In particular, I really liked the wooden rest that you can use to put the utensils on while you're cooking and it is a little bit grooved, which allows it to catch stuff like liquid or oil or soup so it doesn't get onto the counter. If you're looking for a general set of cooking utensils, this will do the job, although some items felt repetitive or not fully ideal for their purpose. For instance, I found the soup ladle to be a little too shallow, and the slotted spoons did a good job of draining water, but not necessarily holding larger foods. also, I found the wood holder to just be a bit crammed when you fill it with all of the tools.When I opened the package, there was a strong chemical smell but it did go away after handwashing. Also, after about a few weeks of use, the spoons start to lose their finish, and you can feel the unfinished wood underneath in the packaging. It does say that you can replenish this finish by rubbing mineral oil on it but I have yet to try it out and see if it remedies the problem.

my husband started to notice that the metal spatula is scratched the pans. He also noticed that the plastic ones melted into whatever he was cooking. Much to my surprise, he has taken a holistic view to cooking. I thought I was the only holistic nerd in the home, lol.He requested a set of wooden utensils, so he wouldn’t get plastic in his food and metal flakes. This is all we use now! They seem to be really high-quality! We are really enjoying these! And it takes away all the health concerns of cooking with pans that get scratched way too easily with metal and melt plastic into your food.

I’m not sure I’ll ever use these as utensils since they look so good on my countertop. I’d hate to scuff them up or char them in any way although they look sturdy enough to handle regular usage. They’re very smooth with no noticeable wood grain texture.
