I like that I can put my compostable slops in the bag and keep the bag in the refrigerator for a few days even a week or so and when full I just throw the entire thing into the compost. The bag holds a lot of food waste.I originally used a reusable Ziploc bag. It was only a third of the size of these bags and it would get full and I have to take it out to the compost and then I’d have to bring it in and wash the bag or else it would stink in my refrigerator.I will continue to use these as long as they’re available.They have held up well in the refrigerator but break down in the compost.

This product is not made of plastic. In my endeavor not to use plastic as much as is possible I use this product. It is not as durable as plastic so I just have to be mindful not to poke holes in it, generally done when I put sharp objects in it. I have been using these bags for well over a year and already have ordered them twice. They are also a lovely shade of green which I like. I plan to keep ordering them as long as they are available.

I've purchased these 5 times, now, and they've worked great for cat litter bags. Clumping cat litter is dense and heavy, but I haven't had a bag break yet. But, we're talking under 3 lbs.Tips: be careful when tearing from the roll or the bag will rip, and assume the first bag will be damaged from the tape.Too bad they increased the price. I may look for alternatives, just to see.

I have been so frustrated with the food bags from Costco that tear while you are trying to open them. These are FANTASTIC.
