Works fine with relatively thin jacketed stranded AWG 18 leads. The package is tight, but I assume you're considering this option because the screw-together options are too bulky for your application. Beware there is no room or provision for strain-relief beyond the terminal screws themselves. I shot a dab of hot-glue in and quickly jammed in the prong-key, honestly feels as good as a factory-made plug. I'd also recommend tinning the wires with just a wisp of solder so the screws have a little more bite and to keep the fray at bay. You can do this.

Easy to connect twin lead lamp cord. Push out yellow plug to disassemble. Works best if stranded wire is lightly tinned, threaded through the support notch at back of each blade, then bent around screw.

Same one's sold at store but cheaper. the polarized brown version was about 1/3 the cost of the white, so I bought the non polarized white and the brown and swapped parts - i can still used the now non polarized brown for other items and i essentially got 2 for one! your results may differ.

Well built, basic two prong plug for your lamp project or to replacement for damaged ones.

Instructions would have been nice . Also a means to hold the cord in so if someone pulls the cord to unplug the pressure isn’t on the electrical connection. Other than that these work great once you figure them out. Fairly easy to use seem to fix the loose connection issues.

Never seen this type of plug setup...used to the ones that screw together.
