PRODYNE ICED Platter IC-10

I bought this for shrimp and it worked perfectly. The tray is a little small, but I was able to pile the shrimp around a small bowl of cocktail sauce and it not only looked great, it kept the shrimp cold all evening.

Bought this as a gift for my mom last year, and she pulls it out for every occasion. It’s very well made and great for keeping items like shrimp cold. The metal top keeps everything chilled even after the ice has melted.

This is the second such platter I bought and I really like these. We also have the Prodyne Dip-on-Ice Stainless-Steel Serving Bowl as well as the Appetizers-On-Ice with Lids. Of all of these, the Platters get the most use. These are especially great for when we have Raclette or Fondue, both meals requiring heating food (cheese, meats) at the table, resulting in a "toasty" temperature at the table. The Platters keep these foods safer longer - the sliced cheese for the Raclette stays firm enough to easily be lifted off and doesn't already melt on the platter. And for fondues, the meats also stay fresh longer. The bowl holds a good amount of ice, and the stainless steel is aesthetically pleasing and food-safe. It simply goes in the dish-washer afterwards. The only thing is that I wish these were bigger or that at least Prodyne would make a bigger version. We have tried the large Prodyne Appetizers-On-Ice but for our purposes the compartments are not large enough to begin with, they are made from plastic, and the triangular shape of the compartments is not conducive to sliced cheese - the large even stainless surface of the platter allows for a lot more food types than the other one. I would buy a large version of this product in a heartbeat.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this. Yes, it is on the small side as some posters have mentioned but I was hoping to use it for shrimp and cocktail sauce and it worked great. I got a lot of shrimp on it along with a ramekin of sauce in the middle. Plus the ice kept it cold so the platter worked for me. I also like the fact that the bowl is divided into 3 sections and can be used on its own. I got this on sale and I'm very happy about the product for the price I paid.

You can fill the divided bottom with ice then put the silver tray on top to hold dips and terrines, cheeses, meats. Great for buffet. I also got the one with the dome and plastic tray (instead of the silver tray) and am very happy I can mix and match components depending on the need. The divided base can be used with ice for chilling or used to separate out veggies or crackers. Great product. I would hand wash these as acrylics dont handle dishwashers, the heat tends to crack them.

Easy to clean, keeps my fruit ball nice and cool so its value is worth the price paid.

I was skeptical how this would work for 8" cheesecakes at an open house party, but purchased two. They were terrific - classy, easy to add ice on the bottom and replenish cheesecakes on the top. Received many compliments. My hospitality group wanted to know how to get them.

Liked the overall design, however once the ice melts you will need to be careful with spillage. Did not use, returned for refund.

Just what I was looking for. Very good quality.

Terrible!! Very Cheap and tacky looking. Plus packaging damaged and not even delivered in a box. The label was stuck directly on the product. So disappointing because this was meant to be a gift for someone.
