GenExhaust for Firman Generator P/N 357723513 - Anodized Easy USE Magnetic Oil Dipstick

The magnet caught metal shavings on the first inspection. Very pleased to see it working after just a few minutes of use. On a new engine (still breaking in) I’m delighted to remove as much metal debris as possible. The plug looks much nicer than the factory/OEM. I attached a picture, showing the plug I replaced along with the metal shavings from the first wipe off after installing. Great product. I’m hoping that they offer an oil plug/seal to complement this upgrade.

This fit my Firman generator perfectly. Nice finish and smooth to screw it in. Works as expected.

Wish the generator came with a good quality dipstick. This is a must buy to replace the terrible plastic one it comes with!! It fit perfectly!!

I own 3 different Firman generators. This particular dipstick fits the Firman T07571 generator. Like many generators, the factory dipsticks are plastic. I chose the anodized aluminum version of this product and could not be happier.The pictures show it in use in my T07571 generator and pulling it out after a few minutes of running it to allow the oil to circulate through the engine. Upon pulling out the dipstick, I saw metal shavings at the end. A clean dipstick has a silver magnet at the tip - this is covered in shavings, and even a little bit of the shaft has them too. These are great because they have hexagonal heads and can be ratcheted or wrenched if necessary. Hand tightening seems to be more than adequate on these small engines.I strongly suggest anyone with a generator upgrade the dipsticks from plastic OEM versions to these from Gen Exhaust. It may be hard to tell in the product images and my own photos, but the anodized version of this product is more of a pea soup green. I think it goes well with the generator.

The plug fits just like the original oil plug on the Firman generator model H07553.

The cheap plastic caps from Firman literally won’t screw in. One had bad threading and the other kid doesn’t match the metal threading. This went in without a problem and it’ll collect metal fragments. I’m glad I upgraded to this.

I definitely got a little magnetic stuff on the plug when I changed the OEM oil. I'll keep using it to see if it keeps grabbing magnetic dust, but I'm confident this helps keep steel remnants out of the engine. Great product.

Picks up a lot of metal particles every time I check the oil.
