beautiful chocolates
i recently learned that i have a real fun time molding chocolates. i purchased this mold as a secondary to a less expensive one so that i could mold more goodies at one time. this mold releases much more cleanly than the less expensive one; just a couple taps and the chocolates slid out, versus the other one that takes a few extra taps. the cavities are also deeper with this, which gives a better "heft" and luxury feel to the individual chocolates. lastly, i love how many cavities it has. like, seriously. i felt so accomplished getting 40 done in one pass. for anyone who is wondering if it's worth spending the $15 or so extra dollars to get this one versus the others -- it definitely is, in my opinion. especially if you already know that you enjoy candy-making.
