Per other reviews top mount nuts break loose
Its nice to have the strut pre-assembled and the first one went on no issue. The second one I thought I cross threaded a top mount bolt, but no, the darn nut was not welded to the top mount properly and broke loose.Needed my car the next day and was able to get it to tighten using an impact wrench, but it’s going to be a pain when it comes the time to remove it.

Easy to install
I had to replace the struts on my car and I found these which were a lot cheaper than anywhere else I checked. These were not bad to install and I did it by myself. Great deal and great product.

Righty tighty turned to righty loosie
Pros:Product came well packaged and with no visible damage.Cons:The inserted "nuts" on top of the struts come loose before you can tight the bolts in.

Missing bolts and soft material used in strut mount double installation time
The whole purpose of getting quick struts is to save time and buying these did the opposite of saving time. First issue may or maybe be the fault of product but most likely due to packaging and shipping....bought a pair and one box had necessary bolts to mount struts while the second package was missing the three top mount bolts. This wouldn't have been a deal breaker if I was able to use the old bolts but the threaded insert used in the top mount was super soft. The bolts would thread in more than half way in and the threaded insert would strip out requiring a trip to the parts store to get longer bolts and matching nuts. With the additonal time spent getting correct hardware, I could have bought better brand struts, break down the old set and reuse some of the old hardware. I've done plenty of struts replacement on other cars using quick struts with no issues but for some reason, these struts uses bolts instead of having studs already pressed in onto the top mount making it a complete waste of time if the loose packaging of bolts are lost in shipping (box came all messed up, half opened) Anyone could be blamed for missing bolts.....Monroe could have done a better job by taping the bag of bolts onto the strut during boxing, amazon could have taped up the box prior to shipping, and ups could have handled the transport better without ripping holes in the box to carry the box around. The issue with the missing hardware wouldn't have been a big deal if I was able to use the old bolts that came out but the threads on the top mount strips out easily making it necessary to get longer bolts and nuts.
