This review is overdue and also the hardest to write because they arrived just days before my best friend of 13.5 years died. I'm still a complete mess but I am trying to smile. He took a huge chunk of my soul. Now that I have depressed you, the product review. They ran small and I should have ordered a bigger size. That is the only thing that I would be concerned about with these little socks. Everything else is perfect. The textured bottom would have kept my Senior lab mix from slipping on our hardwood floors. They seemed very durable and I believe we would have had a lot of use out of them due to the great structure and thickness. I got the black with white paw print and they are ADORABLE. I kept them because we did try to get them on his paws upon arrival but sadly we never got to use them. If you have a senior dog or slippery floors, try these. Hopefully they will work for your best friend to help him/her to stand or walk without slipping/falling. Your buddy is worth trying them out. I also think you will love the way they look and if you get them when your dog is younger, it may help them to get used to having them on. Perhaps starting them out once in a while as they start getting to their middle age is a great way to prep them. Good luck and I hope this helps a little.

Ok so, for as cute as they are, for the life of me I cannot keep them from spinning around on my dogs feet. He’s an old dog, so he’s got some flat foot in the front that makes his feet larger and in the back they fit perfectly (I will say, his feet overall are an oddity) but on all of them they continue to rotate or fall off. I normally don’t review but I felt it was important because I got the socks to help prevent my dog from licking medication from his paws and so it would help prevent scratching his paw pads while he walked. Maybe they work better on bigger dogs but my little old man does not like putting them on, taking them off, or walking around in them because they just spin around and slide off on every paw. I will keep trying them for now since I only recently got them but I don’t have too much confidence. Not saying they can’t be good, but on a small old dog they may not be a good fit.

Nice and were like they said. They do not stay on dachshund. Gave them to a friend and they worked perfect on her dog.

I ordered these 100% to see how well our dog at my workplace would tolerate them, and to watch him adjust to walking in them just for giggles.Based on other reviews, I ordered a Large set for a shar pei + shih tzu mix. He's a relatively medium-small dog, but has fat little paws. They fit really well. The set we put on his front paws pulled up perfectly to the bottom of his dew claws, and the grips fit perfectly with the bottoms of his feet. They stretched really well & were really easy to put on him with someone else holding him upright.He was able to pull them off probably in about 30 minutes or so, but they were definitely worth the $10.

I had a really difficult time getting the right size for my dog. The first pair was huge and the next pair was tiny. If you do happen to get the correct size, they seem like nice quality socks with good grip.

My 7lb cat had these off within 10 seconds by violently shaking her foot. I put them back on three more times, and each time she had it off within a minute. If you have a more relaxed/chill pet these will be great. They are cute, stretch to fit on, and appear to be well-made.She had surgery and can't scratch the stitches on her head, so back to the cone she goes (if only she realized a sock is so much better than a cone... sigh.)

I needed something grippy for our 13.5 year old English Labrador (small breed) who has been experiencing seizures this year and has not been able to hold herself up for a few days now due to a Vertigo episode (which I had never heard of in dogs), where they feel like their world is spinning. I ordered a size extra large and they arrived today, looked so tiny! But I was able to get them on her paws with no problem. She could maybe wear a large. I trimmed the hair from her paw pads today in the back yard, and laid down some yoga mats indoors to help her with more foot pad grip. She has small paws, usually weighs about 55lbs, but right now feels more like 80lbs since she needs us to carry her outside a few times a day. Turn the sock inside out to get it over your pets paws easier if that helps. I’m hoping they will help her have a better grip on linoleum / wood floors.

I would not recommend this product due to the improper sizing and the slippery against of the paw pads. They run extremely small and are slippery for pets. The grips are just for design.
