They work PERFECTLY for the original 3DS! Just not for the XL or N3DS as advertised. Obviously not the highest quality, but not bad also.

Subpar material 2 stripped screws and a third 6mm screw broke off at the head and left the rest of it inside my console while removing the thin plastic shell. This is going to cost alot of time and more parts to fix.

Do not buy

As everyone else said I’m just confirming this. This product gets two stars only because I needed a different screw more than I did the backplate screws so my system is still holding together but this is still unacceptable and this product and even more this company should be taken off of Amazon

Although these screws do seem to make an attempt at being manufactured to the spec for the New 3DS XL housing, unfortunately, as other reviewers noted, the tolerance is not good enough and they do not fit.I figured I would take a chance on it given Amazon's generous return policy and the 1 day prime shipping, however, even after attempting to sand the threads down, it doesn't seem very viable to use these screws for their stated purpose.Shame since I can't seem to source these anywhere.

I’m not really sure why these screws have mostly positive reviews. I got mine around Christmas and needed to replace one screw in the abxy board and 3-4 on the back plate. The one in the abxy board fit but not well, and the screws for the back plate were way to big and didn’t fit at all. You’d think they would test these screws out before they sold them but apparently not.

I bought this kit specifically to replace the back housing screws (not the battery cover, but the actual shell housing), and the screws were too tight. I examined these screws under a loupe, and was able to see that the diameter was just a hair wider for those screws, which makes this kit unusable.Don't bother with this, it's not going to work. The screws are not precise.
