Using to measure small tree diameters. Works good, lightweight.

This seems like a pretty good product. The tape is flexible plastic. I wanted this instead of steel but not sure how long it will last. I checked a few measurements and all look correct. The case is hard plastic so, again, not sure how long it will last.Overall happy and would recommend.

The auto retract works well and the measurements are easy to read. Not very bulky so it fits in the pocket without being uncomfortable.

I only got to use this a handful of times. Recently I was trying to get the DBH of a tree and it broke when I was pulling it out. Cheap and low quality. Would not buy again.

a little short but overall works great for measuring most trees, good value for a budget. if it’s too short you can always mark the place you stopped and add the values just an extra step that could be avoided with a longer one :)

It is what it is.... it's plastic, which means it's not very durable. I've already had to put it back together a couple of times with Gorilla Glue.The seller was great, though.

I purchased this pi tape to evaluate it's robustness for commercial applications and within 30 seconds of opening the package was convinced this is not the product for me.If you plan on buying a cheap pi tape for your personal tool box, then maybe this is the answer. However, if you plan on ordering a bunch for your field engineers, this ain't the solution.Note to self ..... "Keep looking".
